Yes it is true..scientist has determined that worms are causing the global warming problem

Scientist Implicates Worms in Global Warming
Jim Frederickson, the research director at the Composting Association has called for data on worms and composting to be re-examined after a German study found that worms produce greenhouse gases 290 times more potent than carbon dioxide.

Worms are being used commercially to compost organic material and is in preference to putting it into the landfill. The German government wants 45% of all waste to be composted by 2015.

"Everybody... thinks they can do no harm but they contribute to global warming. People are looking into alternative waste treatments but we have to make sure that we are not jumping from the frying pan into the fire," said Frederickson.

	Seems there is nothing out there that isn't harmful in some way. What a world, what a world. Perhaps researching the worms isn't the best use of funds, they might want to look into other ways to help the situation.

	We need to call for a ban on fishing as well, because that's where a lot of worms are being used. From now on no fishing poles will be allowed on any lake or river. Only beer and boats.

	There was more carbon dioxide n the past then there is now. Plants need carbon dioxide to flourish. Plants were bigger in the past because of more carbon dioxide. Plants produce oxegen. People and little furry puppies need oxegen. Am I missing something here or is Al Gore and his global warming crowd full of bullshit?

	I dont listen anymore. not after Al gore said cows passing gas cause global warming. By the way, I heard Al froze to death while giving a speech on global warming in NY. Ok, Ok, I stole it from SNL but I love that line

	Global warming is a reality the American society on a whole has not taken serious enough. Its sort of a is it real? issue while in other parts of the world we see the effects so clearly. America is one of the biggest polluting countries in the world yet it would quickly avoid the thruth just for a few extra dollars. I live in Africa and we have Elephant, bucks, lions and all manner of wild critters so Im sure they also produce their share of greenhouse gasses but the reality is that deforestation and reckles management of natural resources is breaking down the natural mechanisms that deal with pollution. Humanity is pushing the earth to its absolute limits and it is starting to react in very unpleasant ways. Worms aside, man is still the biggest polluter and as long as greed is the motivation it will only get worse. Who cares that future generations will have to live in a extremly toxic earth, people do not love their children anyway Whats the point of banning fishing if you are going to drink beer? Perhaps they should take the money and do a study to see how much gas beer drinkers produce, better than picking on poor slimy worms.

	the American people do have a great concern for this "climate change",Brazil,Indonesia and Malaysia have totally destroyed the tropical forests around the world..We as a people here in USA do care about this issue.we have re-planted 3 or 4 trees for everyone that has been cut down.it is now ingrained in the everyday life of all of us the care for our planet..it is true that capitalism is about "a few dollars more"..bur WE THE PEOPLE have spoken...and continue to speak..as you have also..we continue to find ways to make a few dollars more now by cleaning up our planet..such is the capitalism thing..I have taken tons of garbage and turned it into very rich soil..well the worms have I should say..I do not want to debate this issue..there are many that will however.....top 5 polluters Top 5 1. 	I don't know Mr. Farmer..... Now they are blaming Christians for greenhouse gasses..... well in a roundabout way they are. I'm sure they will be more pointed in their accusations as time goes on.
