I am a very peaceful man, but have found that that is not enough to survive in MatchDoctor.
It seems to take more...like knowing the right people.
I have so many dear friends in here, but it seems some of them didn't know the right people and are gone.
I hope to stay and share the friendships that can be found on line in here but it seems one must be careful of what they say so as not to step on any toes.
I think it is a wise idea to share private emails, just in case someone steps on the wrong toes.

Thank you Summer  I have just been so sad to see good friends gone.
I had one friend write and say they didn't dare comment on this blog...I feel that is so sad that someone feels they can't express an opinion without being judged in some way and fear they will lose something by speaking their minds.

If you hope to "stay and share" then do it.
It is not so much knowing the right people as it is following the rules. I do NOT agree with many of the rules here but I will follow them. Sometimes it is not who you know but how to play the game.
I have also watched many of my "friends" leave this site. Some by choice and some by force. Either go by the rules or leave the site. Stay and cause BS you can expect to be removed.
Personally I have a hard time with this site because I enjoy free blogging. I come back for a few friends here. If a MOD reads my private mail? I don't care. If it is that personal I will not send it through a web site.
"peace love and understanding" is not funny but some people's interpretation of it is warped or one sided.

Peter, Not sure what is going on that prompted you to write this, but I believe most of what justme said to be true. And frankly, I don't believe the whole "they read our emails" thing. I keep finding reason to quote these two lines from a recent tunes4u blog: Embrace personal responsibility. You reap what you sow. How much simpler can it be?

Thank you ALL for your kind words. I have made some good friends, some great friends and I think some REAL friends in here.
I have no intention on leaving and doubt I would ever say anything so radical that I would be banned from here, but far too often I have seen emotions boil over and things said that hurt others. The Mods do what they can to keep order but things get so heated while people are sitting at their computers, that they forget the "rules", forget their manners and the next thing I know...a good friend is gone.
During the election, it got so ugly in here......"here" being a "dating site" that I had to stay away for about a month. I don't want that to happen again.
Please, to my friends and to all...find a way to let the words of other flow off you like water off a ducks back. If you have never been close to a duck (I mean in nature I know we all have to deal with all kinds of critters everyday!) but the water just flows right off........sort of like Teflon....it doesn't stick. Be a duck Be Teflon Be YOU and play fair, love or accept your brothers or sisters....you only have to live with them in here, is  that all that difficult

Hey, guess what? ... people make decisions/choices all the time. If "they" choose to leave because they feel someone ran them off, that's their choice. OK dude,,,,
just a couple of quick points,,,
the rule part in the blog rules says,,,,
You may not include user names in your subject.
Your blog can not "target" a specific user.
Posting a name in the body of the blog is OK,,,as long as you are targeting a specific user....
At least, that's the way I read it....
You have the same thing as me,,,,some people seem to always be at the root of problem,,,yet overlooked. Don't worry about it,,,,just write your stuff, read what you want, comment on what you want,,, and enjoy.
I struggle with trying to understand that there are things that go on the in background. I also struggle with understanding that there are also just bitter ugly people who can't help themselves from starting some sheet. Ignore them,,,, keeps you out of trouble,,,and pisses them off.
I've always enjoyed your comments,,,,and for the most part you are always a voice of calm during a sheet storm. Kudos for that.
Now, if you are not currently making travel plans to OH to collect that spanking,,,, then I don't understand you at all brother....not at all.

Sorry you're having such a hard time. There are those that have nothing better to do then stir up unneccessary trouble. Everyone has a right to their own opinion regardless if it lines up with yours. I wish people would understand that & not send hate mail to each other. I always tell the 'world peace' promoters out there that 'until you can sit at a table as a (republican or democrat) and say there are both good & bad members of the other political party AND there are also good and bad members of your own political party...then don't talk to me about World Peace when you can't even show it in your own country! Regardless of our own political, religious, or ethical beliefs....why can't we learn to admit good & bad exist on BOTH sides of the fence....(not just the one we're looking at!) I tell my writing group that people want to know you care....more then they want to hear you think you're right and they're wrong. In my opinion, that's what is wrong with America today. Not being able to see beyond oneself and realize we're all special and important in someone's life.

Every one has been so awesome and supportive, that is one very cool thing about this site!
I had to delete one of my own comments here in my own blog. How sad is that
I had made the mistake of appearing to single out one member in here. That was not my intention and I wrote to the commenter and appoligized. This is a member I have know for a while and we agreed to disagree on pretty much everything, because we have very different views on most issues. It was cool we could agree to disagree.....but BAMM.......there I went, making an assumtion about them. I may or may not have been right, but this was not the place to deal with it, in front of all.
I like to think I learn from my mistakes, I do...but dang I hate it when I make them
Every comment in here is from someone I see can see that they are not perfect, and that is so respectable.
Thank you again, one and all.
Yesterday I ended up writing and thanking all for the comments that I passed my 100 email limit, wow! You are all too cool.
And also, I want to thank one of the mods for giving me some tips, sharing some laughs and being himself while explaining all the stuff that goes on in the back ground. It is not an easy job...we, yeah you too can really be some nut cases sometimes We exchanged a few emails. Let me tell you, if they are all like him, they have a great staff.
