Once upon a time long ago there was a little girl full of sugar, spice and everything nice. She dreamed of dragon slayers and bean stalks that reach the clouds.
She chased Butterfly's, caught them just to let them go. Lighting bugs at night and if she caught enough the jar would glow and turn a strange color of green that caused her to giggle.
Her dark brown hair kept in pig tails to keep it out of her way. She was always on a mission to save the world----her world---
Climbing trees was her passion. Two Apple and one Cheery tree just waiting for her. She always climbed the Cheery tree her favorite, she ate as many cherries as her tummy could hold.
She could see all around her and laughed at her family as they came looking for her. Never to find her hiding place on the highest limb of the tree.
When they left to look elsewhere, down she came. Dusted herself off waiting for another day when she could climb again-----keeping her secret to herself for yet one more day---- That little girl from so long ago

Why God Made Little Girls God made the world with
towering trees, majestic
mountains, and restless seas.
Then paused and said,
It needs one more thing....
someone to laugh and
dance and sing.
To walk in the woods and gather
flowers....to commune with
nature in quiet hours."
So God made little girls with
laughing eyes and bouncing curls,
with joyful hearts,
and infectious smiles,
enchanting ways and
feminine wiles.
And when He'd completed
the task He'd begun,
He was pleased and proud
of the job He'd done.
For the world, when seen
through a little girl's eyes
greatly resembled Paradise.
1 Peter 3: Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.

Butterfly...I did all these thing's too. Being raised in the country, I would catch lighting bug's, pull off the tail and put it on my finger, my first diamond ring. I would giggle when Mama came looking for me. I can still climb a tree and hang upside down from a tree limb. You wrote this beautifully.

Oh the fun of climbing apple trees and eating the apples. Chasing lightening bugs and putting them in a jar as well. Playing with June bugs and tying string around their legs to let them fly. Such a simple life and yet so much fun.
