I heard today something about Obama is wanting to cut the salaries of Congress.

Thats right! Go for it! With so many people are out of work, I think this is something that needs to be done. Why have those obscene salaries and spending reports when there are people who do not know where they will live or how they will feed their children. What about his salary and that of the VP? Is that included in the deal?

	I agree, it ALL needs to be chipped at!!!!!!!!! Not to mention, the sooner the better! After all, they are Americans too, and we all need to be in this together!

	most of those folks are wealthy anyway .,it would be a drop in the bucket., lots of distribution warehouses are shutting down around Pa.,.,, jobless rate went up again.,next month it is predicted to be the highest in 25 years and still climbing

	Les forget cutting their salary, but eliminating the retirement packages they get- lifetime pensions equal to their salaries and health care.

	Whew...had me worried for a minute when you said 'cutting the pork' I agree, cutting top fed salaries should have been done log ago, but hey, they just got a raise

	I've always thought that the salaries of elected officials should be tied to the income for the average American family. When they have to live and pay taxes the way the rest of us do then they can make better choices. For that matter many gov't workers are better paid and have better benefits than the taxpayers that are paying for it. Maybe we should look at that also.
