I am wondering who "They" are. Everyone talks about "they". They make me laugh. They make me cry. They run the Government. They make the rules, they don't make the rules. They take the credit, they don't take the credit. I know them when "they" are on my side and I'm winning, but I don't know them when "they" are loosing and causing trouble. "They" are the troublemakers, but I'm not them. None of us are "them". So where do "they" reside? They are everywhere but nowhere. Does anyone know who "they" are? It just kind of makes me laugh because whenever there is caos we distance ourselves from "they" as if "they" are strangers and none of us are "them". However, we are all so close and a family and are all "them" when comfort and joy is needed and all become "they" in times of need. Sorta ironic, just a thought. tc Lost

In the UK there was an advert, I cant remember whether it was for insurance or morgages, but the man in it says.. "They said.. but who are THEY?".. he goes in search of THEY and find them living in the woods.. it was quite a funny ad. I tried to find it on youtube but no luck.

they are the ones who will touch a knee for a child and yet they have nothing in their hand but laurels to give the child. as a child i was hungrey a time or 2 but it was no fault of my Mom. i fault "they". they who decided that i should be put into a foster home instead of handing my Mom the same money to take care of me. no drugs, no alcohol, that was my dad's demons. that was a long time ago but i keep the memories fresh so that i don't mind taking out the simians who crowd my front door. LOL we be jammin

I admit it, I am one of "they".
I had a meeting today where the audiance asked why did "they" say you could not have donated computers and were told "they did". Well, I stood up and said "we said that because the superintendant of the schools mandated no donated computers.
No, the audiance did not jump up and down because "they" were identified - instead the audiance was mad because "they" said no used computers.
Oh well ... I guess "they" (meaning me) became the bad guys.
Guess someone had to ...
Wonder if I got a taget painted on my back now ... lol.

I sort of get the feeling that by not necessarily having anyone to identify as They that it sort of becomes a faceless entity that brings out great loathing in a great many people, but because it is a free floating, nameless entity, we often times don't realize that the they that we are so preoccupied with might actually be a mirror reflection of me. Hmmmm, thanks for the comments, many are funny and interesting. Some make you wonder if "They" are you. Did you run someone off the site because you didn't understand why there were here? You figured you needed to tell them how to blog, or how to live their lives? You didn't realize You are "They"??? Hmmm Just maybe everyone once in a while we all can take a look in the mirror like one blogger said. I can tell you this, do to some recent blogging some more are getting ready to leave. Do we want that? Haven't enough people left this site? Is there really something wrong with a few jokes or poems? To some it might be therapy, an outlet, has anyone ever thought of that? Just because it's not your cup o' tea,it doesn't mean it doesn't serve a greater purpose, maybe of some you do not understand. Maybe just think before trying to tell others to go to forums or tell them what to blog about, you may be trying to change them for the worse. tc Lost
