and i put up one just now thats silly,
cause every time i put up somthing serious..no one comments.
This new one 'don't comment' blog...seems to be getting attention.
wierd how people are loving th more simple blogs.

After seeing what happens to many people here that post their own thoughts
and opinions, just to be jumped on and bashed because these *original* thoughts
differed from the *brain wizzards* ....I dont blame them for posting
alternative blogs 
Shaking your head? Then look around, and see how many great writers and
*original thought* bloggers are left on this site. Hmmmmm?
And keep calling the rest of the good people here *trailer trash*, and you may find

I think people should be allowed to post whatever they want, as long as it doesn't break the rules. Creativity is what we see it as. It isn't fair of anyone to judge or use name calling just because they don't like what they see.  As the saying goes, if you don't like it, don't read it.

you used to do poems and stuff,.,.so did i.,.,then i was told there is a thread in the forums to post poems,..,and another thread to post jokes
*then the one comment rule*.,,.that took the fun out of it for me i think 3 would be plenty,.that would keep people from using the blogs as a chatroom,.
there are some good bloggers still here.,as long as they keep them under 50 pages long 4 paragraphs are plenty
the newer trailers are very nice too i'm gonna get one,.put it on my own land a 2 stall garage with an electric lift in one,.work on my own cars

I'm beginning to think I'm on a one man crusade reminding people not to repeatedly post 'cut & paste' jokes because: 1) There is a forum for jokes. 2) It was kindly requested by Matchdoctor staff not to post C&P jokes as blogs.

A blog is an extension of your profile. It's supposed to give people some insight on who you really are For that matter, there are those who use blogs to 'ask for prayers' for a problem; isn't there a prayer thread in the forums for that?
The only way to make sure blogs are all original, non-jokes, non-cut & paste, and strictly give insight into who the blogger is, is to really enforce the rules that MD states for blogging. Of course when anything like that is strictly enforced, it causes members to leave. Then there will be more complaints about how many fewer people are on the site.
Ummm, by the way, this blog you wrote, along with your later comments, leads me to believe you are the type of person who likes to generalize people into groups & then refer to those groups with not so appropriate names.

It seems Blogland is full of trailer trash. was very unkind & an inappropriate remark. I read the blogs that interest me & do not judge anyone. I personally stay out of the forums for somewhat this reason, people can be very rude in them if you are not part of the "click" so blogs work well for me whatever they may be, repost, cut & paste, jokes. MD HAS dopped in volume maybe due to remarks & attitudes like this........ jmo
I've read some of your blogs & comments Mom......maybe you were just having a bad day & that's ok but no need to put down good people just for blogging what they want .............

And some people are not prolific writers and would still like to join in meeting people, seeking a date, just having fun. But to exclude them because they don't write as well as some seems unfair to me.
Some people that tell jokes are great people, it is an ice breaker, a way to join in, fit it, feel accepted.
But in here? NOPE, the holier then tho "great" blog writers will slap them upside the head for not dotting their "i's" or crossing their "t's" or maybe they didn't read the "rules" and erred in some way their. Geez, don't go telling me you read the fine print in everything? We all make mistakes.
Why don't you go to a blogging site? This is a dating site and sure, there are many that are great writers, what about those that aren't?
Why does a section of the dating site exclude those that are not writers, that are just here looking for a date and would like to join in with those in the blogging section??
It states CLEARLY in the MD rules that you may NOT post any copyrighted material...but someone in blog land (not MD!) made up a rule that it is ok so long as you post who has the copyright, who's rule is that
It may seem all warm and fuzzy to those in the clique, but it sure isn't to a newbie.
