Yep, MD is full of them, oh and not just here, all over America.
And its even an international thing too, millions of people world wide are being sucked in, taken for a ride, misled, misguided, robbed, and down right decieved
We think we are so careful and smart, but believe me these people are far more clever than us, who are they?
Marketers.

Products in our stores that claim to do so much, or have what they know we are looking for, cleverly packaged and worded to get us to part with our money.

Take weight loss supplements for example. drinks and powders of all kinds, luring us in to the thought that if we buy their product we'll lose weight.
Look carefully at the small print and on each and every one of them they say. "Take with diet and excersize"
Its the diet and excersize that gets you to lose the weight.. if these potions were so effective they wouldnt need to say that now would they! Ive checked with my Doctor who said they really dont do anything except maybe help you believe youre losing weight.

Also Cuisines and other such diet foods in the frozen aisles, Ive known people eat these and wonder why they are not losing weight.. look at the boxes.. some of these boxes have up to 13 grams of fat in them, they rely on their name for you to buy them, anything over 4g of fat per meal will make it harder to lose weight unless youre also on a strict excersize regime, which they mention on some in very small print.. They are extremely high in sodium (salt) Also the ammounts are very small, people are better off making thier own healthy veg soup at home, far more healthy and good for them. and you dont end up feeling hungry from eating such small portions.

Also look at the clever way diet frozen foods market the fat content.

20% Fat.

65% Fat free.

Many will see the two words fat free and buy it, but,, 65 from 100 is 35.. so this has 35% fat. 15% MORE than the 20%.

Detox products.. these are the biggest rip off ever in my opinion. There is no medical evidence that these very expensive products work, they are if you study the containers, made from natural ingredients, (they mean Vegetables)
and everyone knows if you eat plenty of fruit and veg your body is healthy enough without that 3 day intake of so called detox that really doesnt do anything more than if you just drank a bottle of V8.... of course minus the extra $10-$15 you would have spent.

Tv adverts telling you to call now and get additional things free.. these companies are in it to make money, so they over charge for the product but lure you with offers of additional 'free' gifts, many of these products are pure junk, these products want in the regeon of $20 each, mostly made in China that cost about a dollar to produce. Dont forget what it is costing them to run these Ads, all these ads have to be paid for.. by US.
"You dont get owt for nowt" as they say in England.

You dont get something for nothing. Nothing is free, despite the adverts claims.

Many companies too rely soley on thier names, an unknown brand on the shelf may have a far better deal for you than sticking to your old favourite brand who relying on their name have reduced the content and raised the price.

Breakfast cereals claiming to make you lose weight if you eat 2 bowls a day for 2 weeks instead of breakfast and lunch.. this is hysterical, yes of course you'll lose weight, you'll lose weight if you eay ANY kind of cereal in place of your normal food, BUT what they dont tell you is the boxes are crammed with sugar, not only will you lose weight, but you'll also be extremely unhealthy at the end of it. Some of these cereals have up to 40 grams of sugar in them.. thats the equivilant to 10 teaspoons of sugar!

I refuse to be sucked in any more, after all my research I now read labels carefully, ok it takes a bit more time, BUT once I know my products, I'll be able to go straight to them and know I am not being robbed or decieved.
