Dear diary, what's up with BMW drivers? Do they take mandatory asshole driving classes or are they assholes to begin with. It never ceases to fail me when I'm doing 90 miles an hour in a 65mph zone the ONLY car to get 10 feet behind me flashing their high beams to get out of the way... is a BMW. They say a car is an extension of ones personality... Personally, I've only met a few BMW owners and they all seem to be aggressive, arrogant, cocky 'sons-of-bitches' one being a woman !
That's a lovely 328i. If you wouldn't have parked it diagonally, another car could have parked next to you in this busy parking lot.
If I could invent a remote controlled 'engine kill device' I could become a millionaire literally overnight. Just think, the next time a BMW driver waits until the end of the merge lane to suddenly drive alongside the safety-zone and eclipse your attempt to smoothly merge into traffic... you could pull out this device, point it at their car, press the trigger and 'ka-sput, ka-sput, ka-sput" their car quietly rolls to a stop.
Dear diary... remind me to invent a model for Mercedes Benz too.

I'm a Benz owner and have always felt "superior" toward the BMW owners. I don't know why the animosity, however in NY they do drive way too aggressively and I've always sort of disliked the car itself, well I'm not sure if its the driver or the car I dislike...them my best friend traded in the Benz and got a better deal on the BMW and let me drive it this past weekend. I shamelessly admit it had much more power then a Benz and I enjoyed the ride and the comfort......still I feel more loyalty toward my brand. I just will say in defense they are powerful cars and can not be driven slow. I'm not sticking up for all of them, but they always seem to outrun me too on the highway

Out here we find this to be true:
What's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW?
The porcupine has it's pricks on the outside.

We have noticed that too with BMW drivers around here and drivers of other expensive vehicles, it's like they are saying to the rest of the world, I can do what I like because I can afford this expensive car and I'm better than you. It's like to say, I don't have to follow the rules of the road because I'm in this expensive vehicle. I'm sure not all drivers of expensive vehicles are like that, but we sure see alot of them, grrrrrr. Yeh, some do park diagonally in the parking lots. I don't see the point. Just because you own an expensive car does not make you any different than those who don't drive one, it just means you may have more money. Money only gets you more toys. You are who you are whether you drive an expensive car or not, the car does not change that. What about drivers in general who don't use signal lights, we have to guess where they are going, grrrrrr. Don't even get me started on that one.
Since we are on the topic of drivers, today I was going into the turn lane to enter a strip mall when a car from the other direction decided it was OK for him to be in my turn lane coming from the other direction, grrrrrrr. I had to get out of his way and I had the right of way and was in my correct lane. Where do these people get their driver's licenses? I just have to wonder some days.

I've owned both a 300E and 2 BMWs (318i and 325i)... all were bought used (ie, cheap) in an effort to find a car that would last more than a year or two, since I regularly put 50k miles a year on a vehicle.
That being said, I now drive a 90 Toyota Camry, with the passenger window missing (I put in a piece of plexiglass and duct-taped it in...). It has 215K miles on it. Yessir, the economy has changed.
My tactic for those way-too-aggressive people who want to lock their front headlights with your rear taillights:
(1) Wait until there are no other cars nearby (2) Suddenly touch your brakes briefly
and either (a) Laugh like hell as they spin out of control, knowing they'll at least get a big spurt of adrenalin in their system (b) Smile and get ready to collect a chunk of cash -- 'cause after all, it's their fault if they rear-end you!
Geez... do I feel my neck hurting????
