ya no what ?.,i was thinking about my grandmother.,she was a wonderful lady.,very smart,articulate and wise.,(made the best potato salad in the world too).,
every now and then she would teach me something.(i will share this one with you now)..,
yep,.she would crack me behind the head.,(hey she hit hard too).,.,then she would say.,"if you don't have anything nice to say to some one.,DON'T say anything".,
well,.,after a few of these lessons.,i got the message.,then one day she was in a bad mood.,my sister made me mad while riding in the car.,and out of the corner of my eye.,i saw Grammy looking at me.,i said.,"oh no.,not gonna say anything at all".,she had a big smile on her face then.,she was now in a wonderful mood.,(and i didn't get smacked).,and all i did right was...., "I KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT"

My grandmother always used to say "I wish you'd told me you were coming I'd have put me teeth in and bought a cake".
I agree ... you are a nice person ... I might not comment much but I do read and I often find if I'm fed up around this place and Muppet's cancelled then I'm onto something.

Such sweet memories, Muppet, that you have shared with us. For that, I thank you.
My family loves the potato salad that I make, but it amazes me how many different ways people make it. I love recipes. Every now and again your Grammy taught you something. Did she happen to teach you how to make her 'best' potato salad?
I'm looking forward to Easter dinner...........Potato Salad and Ham!!! By the time that gets here, it will definitely be time for a picnic, even if it is around the dining room table.

and i really miss her baked macaroni and cheesee ummmm
and she use to tell my sis ters and i whn we would come in late some eveinings from bible school she would always tell us go wash youre stinkiy palces  and get to bed

Very sweet Mr. Muppet! I had one mean granny, and two that were most precious including my great-grandma. She is the one that taught me to see the heart in people and be thankful for what I have.
I loved them all though, even the mean one! She would get drunk and threaten people!
