It has been that long (plus an hour or so) since the best thing in the world happened to me. I had always dreamed of having a house full of kids.......ya know.....being the suburban mom -- PTA meetings, sports, school activities -- the whole nine yards. That dream never came true....they never do come about the way you expect them......but what I got was even better.
I may only have the one son but I have come to find out that he is a miracle child in more ways than one. I have found out recently that it was a one in a million shot that I was even able to conceive him, he has never been in trouble with the law and has no interest in alcohol,drugs or smoking. He has manners and shows respect to those who have earned it. He has a full time job that he has had for almost 2 years with insurance and paid vacation that he plans to keep for a while with sights on going into business with friends later this year as a sideline.
The best part is that he loves and respects me despite the many times I may have been a difficult Mom to get along with.......LOL
After seeing all the heartache and troubles that my nieces and nephews have put my sisters through I am extremely grateful to have that one miracle in my life come true.

Awwww Happy Birthday to him too. I have two birthdays this month too, both my daughters were born this month. As far as a house full of kids, you could have had mine, I just had that Saturday. My kids had a party here Saturday night that I walked into when I got home from a date lol. Since we had one of the first snow falls in Tennessee also that night they all had to spend the night. Bodies everywhere on the floor or whereever they could fit lol. But that's part of the joys. My kids are grown cept for one teen and one in college, but they for the most part, are good kids too, what else can ya ask for? BTW, I knew they were gonna try and have friends over for a bonfire, but it turned cold and the party moved inside, they respected my home tho and didn't mess it up, musta kept the music down, the cops didn't come lol. tc Lost
