will it hurt us?

If it did..was that really love?
Maybe that experience had nothing to do with love at all?
What should love be?
It should be an experience
One where one finds peace...
they find contintment........
they feel a sense of home......
a sense of belonging.....
it should flow freely.....
there is a longing to be with that person...deep inside.
it makes your gut hurt....
it makes your heart hurt...lovesick...
When they are not with you ...
you feel as if something is missing....
Like a lost limb..and extension of you...
It makes one want to go home....to reunite.....
there is a longing to be with that person...deep inside.
You know you cant be happy unless they are by your side!
How do we acheive this?
By taking our time...
exploring the person as only a friend ...
Because if they can be your close friend..
then they can be your lover.........
Talk about their past.....
Their past can become their future...
Meet family, the nut doesnt fall far from the tree....
Talk to friends....they always lay little hints
if there is some little something you should know....
But you must listen with your ears and not your love....
Because love is deaf...
You must see with your eyes and not your love...
Because love is blind.......
Do we share the same values, morals?
Do we share commonality?
Do we share faith?
Then....if all is going well........
LOVE WITHOUT HOLDING BACK!!!!!

Very beautifully said. It is true, when you love someone, you do feel as 'though they are an extension of yourself. I always know when I'm in love when I hold a person's hand and I feel as one. There is no other way to describe it.

There is desire .... then there is love.
Love is not possessive .. it is appreciative ... it is ONE sided.
When the other also loves ... it is wonderful.
Love does not hurt .... unrequited desire does.
