My youngest son lost a good friend last week...in Afghanistan. I mentioned it in my last blog...I've been helping the family with making calls and sending emails to let a few of his Marine friends know. It's been a sad week..the saddest day to be his funeral, that is Saturday... What keeps going through my mind tonight is...

They are special you know, a Marine. They are,  they are immortal now, Once a Marine, always a Marine. they stand there watch just as they always did, securing the pearly gates until you and I get there. You can here them on a warm spring day, if your still, going about there duties in heaven just as thay always have so you and I can sleep secure knowing that they are there, protecting us, and our children, in this world and the next.
