Writing is not about words being beautiful, writing is about the feelings your words can evoke in someone. Writing may come from pain of losing a loved one...to happiness and joy you feel on the birth of a new baby...sadness over a friendship that never was.

Absorb everything you can in life. Use your eyes as a funnel and pour every drop into that always waiting sponge of yours--your brain--

Take the time to breathe in deeply, smell the Earth after a Summer rain. Bite into a juicy Orange, feel it tickle your nose as the tangy pulp burst in your mouth sending liquid sunshine down your throat. Taste the syrupy sweetness of a ripe peach.

Lie in the grass trace the clouds with your eyes, notice each contour, every color variation from the darkest grays to the palest pinks to the brightest whites.

Hear the crunch of dried leaves under your feet and the soft rustle of your clothes as you walk.

Sit on the bank of a slow moving river imagine your a rock in that river let the water glide over your skin touching you, feeling the texture of your skin, slowly finding every wrinkle, every bump all of your imperfections.

Never go back on the path you've already taken. Move on to a different path, reach towards a new goal. Yet remember the lessons you learned on the path, go over them each day until you know them by heart

Keep moving until you know your where you were meant to be......
