Strength....or weakness..?.....Tears......
Tears fall when heavy...strong enough to drop...
Little spheres loose their shape...falling..then plop!
Else they trickle gently...slowly...and gather up speed
to flow like a river.. oer cheeks quickly they lead....
One tear, two tears, three tears ....four....
tumbling round...streaming down..multiplying to more....
What causes such release of liquid from thine eyes?
Is it pain from deep within...released.. yet in disquise?
Be strong! Don't cry!
You heard this remark...but why?
Confusion and not knowing is a cause for many tears...
these droplets allow outward symptons of one's fears.....
A babe sheds tears when can not speak in another way...
Are we not the same...when we know not what to say?
Be strong! Be a man!
Hold in those tears if you can!
What if we let go of our feelings...let them show?
Would tenderness abound because we would know?
Knowing pain and still going forth...standing tall...
Bending down to help another who has taken a fall....
Reaching out to touch someone who is in pain
Eases our own...we've so much more to gain....
Don't be afraid to give a hug...a touch...or a smile...
It may be thee one day who cries for awhile
seeking assurance from a stranger...or another...
Remember...."He ain't heavy.He's my brother."
