Ive bloged about this before....a time where i can leave home and see a few things .....go on a real vacation....away from my kids.....home...and work.....right at a thousand miles away.....at four am satuirday morning....im pulling out for a trip to my sisters house where my moms been living since last october....first stop.......graceland.....where elvis lived........stay over nite just down the road....and then on sunday....ill be six hours away from louisiana.....two days down there...and then to alabama where weve rented a beach house for three days.......me.....my brother and my brother in law are going to rent a boat and go out on the ocean for a fishing trip....going to see the ocean for the very first time....plus go fishing out to where you cant see the land....i understand what you catch they clean for you and you can take it home and cook it...im about to see states and do things ive always wanted to do.....but for the last 15 years ive been a single parent that couldnt afford to do such things......but now at fifty....im about to start living for myself....this is just a start of what i want to do next in my life....see and do things.....high adventure out on the open road.....for the first time writing a blog....im at a loss for words.....the joy im feeling.....what it took to get to this time in my life......i guess i thought the time would never come.....but yet...here it is.....and its everything ive always thought it would be.....ill check in next week and blog about whats happening......might even post a few pictures when i get back.....so in the words of bob segar......Travelin man ....love when i can....turn loose my hand cause im leaving......that reminds me......got to pack some going down the road tunes.......Color me gone.........cookie.

Go on down to Tupelo Ms. That is the boy's birthplace. You can also see the hardware store where he bought his first guitar if you are interested in Elvis that much. have a good time.

By the way.......I've wanted to see an ocean since I've been a young girl. Please take many, many pictures, so I can at least see it through your eyes.

you'll be amazed when you go thru the house  I've been there 3 or 4 times I just love Elvis I stayed at the Howard Johnson's down the street matter of fact you can walk to the house Enjoy your time with the family and your trip!! Be happy my friend
