I'll just call them Zombie Bloggers, for lack of a better description. Like a Sci-Fi movie where you kill a zombie... or at least you think you did and the next night, they're back again.
These are MD members who (for various reasons) have done things that got themselves booted out of Matchdoctor. They love this place so much, they come right back. Whether it's a day a week or several months, they all seem to resurrect themselves in one way or another.
Since I don't know (or care to know) the inside gossip, some 'bootings' are obviously warranted. Rudeness, name calling to other members are generally obvious. Others are somewhat cosmic in nature, in that, multiple profiles or baiting arguments could be the reason for a cancelled membership.
A 'funny guy' I was friendly with disappeared one day. I think he knew his time here was growing shorter as his last e-mail to me indicated something was wrong. Unfortunately, when MD cancels a profile (for whatever reason) all their correspondence gets deleted. If he sent me his e-mail address, I never received it. Maybe he pissed off a few too many, but he wasn't disagreeable with me.
If you happen to genuinely strike up a friendship with someone here, it would be a good idea to trade personal e-mails in the event something 'happens'. Especially if that person has has disagreements with other members. Amazingly, you could be friendly with someone who doesn't get along with others... Yes, this is MD, we come from all corners of the globe and all walks of life. That's very possible.
Another suggestion: create a different e-mail address until you're really sure to give MD friends your main e-mail address.
Like spots on a leopard, some members cause trouble from day one and can't seem to change. That reminds me of a member 2 years ago where he and his girlfriend got booted and immediately came back with new profiles stirring the pot with no time wasted. I don't have an account with POF, but it's safe to say, many who got booted from MD, migrated to POF. I read this in someone's blog.
I don't know what the resources are there (blogging, chat rooms, forums) but it's human nature (unless the moderation is very strict) they will act the same there as they did here.
I'm tagging my blog humor, because it (like many things in life) I find funny. So sharpen your wooden stakes (steaks if you're hungry) and remember to keep lots of garlic around the house. I think it's also advised to load your pistol with silver bullets and keep a vile or two of the holy water. You never can tell if you say something 'out-of-line' and cannot logon to MD one day. Then, you'll have to create a new profile and become one of the living dead and walk the streets at night saying "Shit man... all my cool blogs are gone!"

I have found that if you step on the wrong toes around here you may get booted. I have be REPORTED to the mods  for doing nothing! My words were twisted 
I am just another single guy on this dating site, enjoying the blogs and forums but due to the fact I hang out at another site where lots of members from here have joined, many in here assume I am "one of THEM".
I feared I would get booted for the 'crime' of associating with them. As it turns out, that hasn't happened yet but I did share emails with friends because I have made some great friendships in here. You are wise to put this out there, it could happen to anyone

I've seen people get riled and leave to go to other sites and find out the grass isn't greener. They usually come back and I don't mind. I have also seen those leave here saying good riddens and soon come back, well it's ok, maybe they've had a change of heart. It's ok too. It's fine to have a cooling off period. New people come on the site too and they make new friends, or sometimes things that once were important, just are not that important anymore after you have time to think about it. Whatever the reason, if one wants to come back, so be it. I really don't care. This is just the internet, no reason to worry why someone comes back or leaves, freedom of choice I say. Who am I to make decisions for them? Nobody....it might seem funny like you said, but we don't know, maybe they have friends that we have no clue about and more reasons to stay than to leave. Who knows? Maybe they meet more new ppl here than any other site that they've tried and it's why they are back? Could be. Maybe they like the blogs, who knows, all I know, is the site can use more ppl.Take care Lost
