I work at a theme park in south Georgia.I had a family get on a rollercoaster I was operating.As I was securing the restraints.The child started crying and saying she wanted off the ride.So I explained to the parents.That I couldn't run the ride.While the child is upset.The parents insisted on me to start the ride.So once again I told them I couldn't and they got upset.Called every name in the book.Plus a few new ones.Who would be crazy enough to put their child in danger?Just ride a rollercoaster.
Then a couple of hours later.I had a lady who was six months pregnant.Try to get on my ride.After five minutes of convincing her.She agreed not to ride.She later came back and thanked me for not letting her ride.She seen how rough the ride was running.
I have also seen guys.Who can take on a bear and win.Get sick and loose their lunch on the coasters I run.It can be very funny times.Watching them get picked by their families.Somtimes I do feel sorry for them and sometimes I don't.But they were warned.Not to eat and then ride a high thrill ride.It just doesn't make sense at times.  But I do like the job.I do have fun at times with guests.I wish I could get a few more compliments.
