Thanks for all your support and encouragement everyone...I am sure she will be very pleased and happy to see so many of you are sending her your good wishes. We are both happy to have so many friends here. Well..  .she has more than me...but..you know....she is nicer too.
I have not heard from her yet today...but according to her flight info, she should be landing in Denver at around 2:30 MDST. Hopefully she went through customs ok in Washington DC, gravy, tea and crumpets notwithstanding..... 
Yes people..  .the woman is bringing me and Jake more gravy! And tea too...oh yes...lets not forget the crumpets! 
How cool is that? Nothing is impossible in her world....Nothing scares this woman! Well I guess that is pretty obvious considering where she is headed and who she is visiting.... 
I can see it now...in line at the customs desk.... 
" Excuse me Miss....would you like to declare anything in your suitcase?"
" Declare something? What do you mean?"
" Is there anything in your suitcase you think we might want to know about?"
"Yes Sir..."
" Ok young Lady.....what are you declaring?"
"Yes Sir............Gravy."
"Gravy?"
"Yes Sir...Gravy. Chicken gravy and some beef gravy as well."
Did I hear you right Miss? Gravy?"
" Oh yes...and crumpets ..and...umm.... tea."
" Crumpets ? ...tea?....gravy?"
"Yes Sir."
" No bombs? No Swine flue?.....just gravy? "
" Yes Sir...just gravy, crumpets and tea."
" Ok Miss..I don't even want to see it all.......it's been one of those days....you may go ahead...welcome to the USA."
" Thank you Sir...  ."
Somehow, misschoos ( with a small "m" because that's the way she likes it) reminds me of Mary Poppins. Think I will buy some sidewalk chalk just in case.
Washington DC to Denver...3.5 hours or so....good time for her to nap....
Then, after reaching Denver she has a 50 min layover which is plenty of time for cocktails...she will need them.... she will board a two prop little plane and fly into the huge metropolis of Casper......Right around Happy Hour........ I mean 4:30 pm MDST. This flight is NOT a good time for a nap. It is a good time to be half drunk. It is a very small plane. It will fly right up the Eastern Front Range of the beautiful still snow covered Rocky Mountains. An incredibly beautiful flight on a day like today. But SOB! The plane is little! And noisy!
As for me...well...if you think SHE has a long trip....I have my own ordeal of a trip to take just in order to pick her up on time. .. it takes forever to get anywhere in this huge city, I will leave my shop and head for the airport early, somewhere around 4:20. That should be plenty of time to get there early enough to enjoy a few cocktails a beer at the bar while waiting for her plane. I am sure once she saw the size of the plane she was about to board in Denver, she ran back to the first bar she could find, and had a couple herself. 
So...there we have it....a couple hours left...  ..maybe I will just have one little beer now...just to sort of relax a little.....*hic*
Just one....it's still kinda early ya know.....
By the way.. I mentioned yesterday that I was gonna look for my rake and maybe rake out the guestroom for her...well..you will be happy to know...while looking for my rake, I found my leaf blower machine. 
After a couple beers and cleaning the spiderwebs and dried old snake skins out of it, ..it actually worked great!! 
In fact it worked so good I cleaned the whole house with it.
There is that little pile of lamps, knickknacks, my sons clothes, small books and kitchen utensil type stuff outside in the yard now...but hell...the inside of the house looks fantastic!
I just wanted everyone to know just how hard I am working so our misschoos ( with a small "m" because that's the way she likes it) can be comfortable.

OMG! I guess this is gonna work out just fine for you two.
I can assure you if I had to fly in a noisy, two prop little plane to see you....you'd be having to drive over to the next biggest airport to pick me up, cuz it just wouldn't happen!

Becks, how the hell can you be only another 15 mins drive than I am when you're 6 hours from me?? Damn mountains, I suppose....to get here they'd have to cross the Rockies and the Sierras. Nice.

Customs wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, after hearing Mum & Dad tell me it was like being lined against a wall in a firing range...things must have changed.
I didn't like giving my fingerprints at customs, but it was either that or leave.
Do they keep them on file forever, or just until you have left?
The guest room was beautifully raked and leaf blowed and apart from having to clamber over all your household goods to get in, it everything was superb
