My heart is heavy and today I cry
Please don't let another day slip by
As he reached out to you
You just turned your head
What he got was a slamming door
And silence instead
I pray im wrong
And its not to late
But just look around
Sometimes we can predict our own fate
You are one of his Sons
He has two
Just open your heart just be you
Don't let any more time slip by
Before giving it one more try
I know your in pain
He is hurting too
I want you to know he is so proud of you
Its hard to understand where hes coming from
But please always remember
You are one of his Sons
