Good luck to you! I just had surgery myself 4 weeks ago. They put a metal plate where my neck and back meets along with a few screws. So to just let you know, you are not hurting alone here but hang in there and things will get better soon.
At least you won't set the metal detectors off? Now we know why they say, Life starts at 40.. You start to fall apart after hitting that 40 mark. and I really love this neck collar,, I haven't been able to lick myself at all with this collar on.(joke).

And of course "THE Great Physician" is in charge of it all. Like you said.... so glad they caught things now rather than later.

 I'm sorry you feel bad. but it sounds like you're in good hands.
Check out my colonoscopy blog. it explains a little about me (i know what pain is, i understand) it may make you smile and laugh a little too. i'm sure it's been a long time since you had a laugh.
