This is happening in America as I write this:
I am watching a program right now where they say "human trafficking" generates more income than Google, Nike and Starbucks put TOGETHER. Profiting from selling flesh. And then they beat these teenage girls. Kids as young as 7 are being exploited and then being labeled "throw away children" by society. Some kids in America have been sold for $200 
Its shocking, who are the buyers? ...why are they not being prosecuted? They say many buyers are high profile guys. Why? Does it make them feel more powerful? Why dont they change the laws to prosecute the buyers 'off the street'. No buyers... no sellers. Like one lady said in the audience, hang a few buyers out, and the crows won’t go to corn 
According to them, human trafficking is growing at an alarming rate right here in America. All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. They suggest you become aware within your own community. If you see any of these situations, it could mean the child or teenager is being exploited
1. Not in control of their own i.d or passport.
2. Not allowed to speak for themselves.
3. Not able to tell you where they are living.
4. Avoiding eye contact.

That is what I was saying in another blog where they were running down Catholic Priests, it's not just them, it's 10% of the society today according to statistics and it's sick. Why do men want children anyways, they are deranged and other men profit off of it. If they don't have the money, they find other ways to con the children. I think there should be classes or something started very young in childhood to teach right from wrong, we are missing something very important in the upbringing here. I don't know what the answer is, but something is definately wrong when they harm children in this manner. Take care Lost

First, we act like women aren't involved, first mistake in stopping this horrible action.
Very few people actually step up to the plate on serious issues, sadly.
Case in point, last year there was hit/run of an old man in the middle of the street, everyone just stood there and let the man suffer right before their eyes as nothing ever happen.
Your topic is a very real and serious subject that doesn't get enough press or gov't input sadly.

The young prostitutes in the brothels of urban India are usually kidnapped from Bhutan and Nepal. The children begin their lives trying to help support their families by taking jobs in factories. The foremen are on the payroll of the sex traffickers and give their patrons a call when a particularly attractive boy or girl is employed at the factory. The sex trader kidnaps the child and takes them from Bhutan to the brothels of Mumbai and Calcutta. The girls are made pregnant immediately and their babies are essentially held for ransome, an anchor to keep the young girls compliant. By the age of 17, most are dead or dying from AIDS.
In other parts of the world, kidnappers go into villages and just take chidren off the street, working with unscrupulous adoption agencies to provide these children to American pedophiles. The child comes complete with official looking adoption papers and other documents.
I'm not sure the 4 criteria will always work. You can have a legally adopted child affect the same bewildered expression and no child is ever in possession of his passport.

The influx of different cultures into this country has escalated this problem in America.. some of this behavior is totally legal or exceptable in other countries..
There was a great example in So Cal where a Egyptian family that bought a 7 year old kid from there country and put her to work in there home.. she lived in the garage and not allowed to speak or look at the family in the eye.. she was not allowed to go to school.. forced to work while sick.. called names by the adults and there children as well.. the did a good job of hiding her.. someone visiting finally reported them.. she was finally taken out of the home when she was a teenager... Sad thing.. she was sold to the couple by her mother... who knowingly sold her as a slave, said that she would have a better life in that situation than she would have had living with her own family..
It's a very sad situation that has grown in this country and the world..

not once have the right wingers commented on my blogs about the protection of children even tho they have seen my posts, but they are quick to run down women who have had to and will continue to have abortions. how vicious and cruel they are?
to any women who has had an abortion, its ok doll  ... dont allow these self-righteous morons’ attacks on MD to get you down.
do they really care.... NO! are they too loud... YES!
anyway i dont want the likes of wing nut, supremefool or any right fighters on my blogs unless its to learn... right now they are incapable of compassion and perhaps all of them need a huge test to wake them up to it.
