I read a Yahoo/Associated Press news story last week about singer Natalie Cole. She is recovering from kidney transplant surgery. I blogged about her more than a year ago when she announced her bout with (liver cancer) hepatitis C.

Natalie had received chemotherapy to treat the hepatitis. After four months, she had kidney failure, forcing her to receive dialysis three times a week since September.

I find it odd the story says the kidney dialysis is unrelated to her struggle with hepatitis C. I think the news story is wrong and they are directly related... but that's my opinion and this is my blog.
