June 6th 1944, sixty five years ago today, they took the first steps to claw back Europe from Hitler and the Nazis.

Rest in peace.

	..Yes....It s important to remember these heroes.of 65 years ago ..it has been publicised on our TV all week .and today ...men as old as 100 yrs are placing wreaths of poppies on war memorials .. some from younger Regiments too...in Tribute to these brave men ..
