things have changed again.... this time not for the better..  ... I have met alot of good friends in the chat room here ..  . I have been on this site since 2002 ... I have seen alot of changes some good and some well .... removing the chat room is one I dont understand... its kinda like our "cheers " a place you can go and every one knows your name ( so to speak ).. when its late at night and ya cant sleep you could always go to chat and there would be some one there to talk to.... I just cant understand why the chat was removed ..... the thing is the chat room helps to meet others that you wouldnt meet .... is there anything we can do to get our chat back?

You cannot IM now, I am miffed because I paid to be a Gold Member and cannot even IM. No wonder they have been offering Gold Membership here in UK for free.Wonder if we will get a refund!!!! Such a shame,have recommended it to many people.

When you click on the chat link, this is what it says
"Matchdoctor Chat Rooms
IM and Chat Services have been permanently removed. Please use our extensive forums, found here. "
So I am guessing it is permanent.

well one of the great things about this site was the chat room !.. . I too have told many people to join this site because of the chat rooms ...... and we all know that the mods read everything ... so why dont they see that most of the loyal members here are wanting thier chat back???

I miss my caht room also.I was so shocked that they took it away.I had met many people in there in the 6 years I have been on this site.I hope they bring it back.I know many went to another site but this is the site I like the most.It is horrible how some ruin it for everyone.

yep see if it wasnt for chat I would have never met you .  .. and I am proud I met you and have gotten to know you over the years.. .. they really do need to rethink taking our chat from us.. .. I know for awhile they fixed it where we only got one comment on the blogs but I see we can now have more than one comment..  ...maybe they might see we need our chat back !
