for my friends... well.... anybody actually
For those who did not catch my earlier blog.... I recently had a blood test and my CA levels have gone back up requiring a CT scan to make sure there's nothing in me to be concerned about. As you can imagine this was disconcerting news. Thank you all who are praying on this with me. And..... I just have to tell you....
Today at work I got a wispering twinge of fear and doubt pulling at my sleeve trying to gain full attention and I was able to say:
"You know what Satan, you're going to have to talk to Jesus on this one." Why I think I even had a smile and almost a smirk on my face when this went through me. (You know... the "talk to the hand" deal?)
It just immediately took all responsibility off of ME... I handed it over to Jesus several days ago... it's outta my hands. Let the devil deal directly.
How empowering.... the devil knows we can be and often are weak.... but when we truly turn our fears and doubts over to Jesus.. put them in God's hands... they are out of our jurisdiction.

My prayers will continue to be with you and the medical staff giving the tests.
And I want to thank you. Your wonderful words in this blog helped me a GREAT deal. This blog gave me a lift and some reassurance I was badly needing right now. As I am sure it has others as well. Hang in there. Stay strong. You will be fine.

I truly understand how you feel.. I get twinges now and then.. worrying if cancer will return.. but you are right.. we have to turn it all over to the Lord and let Him handle it. Sometimes it's just too much for us to take care of.
