Everyone is asking the same thing. Back when there was a chat room, the majority of people that went into chat complained about how they didn't like it because members were mean, so they said they would avoid the chat room & use the forums.
I think the site owners & mods got tired of all the chatroom complaining & removed it. The complainers' voices were heard, now it's time to get over it.

I'm not certain that is it. The chat room was messing up lately and I think it was hard to maintain and keep it running right. Sure some complained but not anymore than in the forums or blogs. Many left chat months ago just like they did the blogs as this site has gone done like Classic said. Chat actually has been a lot of fun as of the past several months. So I'm guessing it was because it wasn't working right and servers were getting goofed up, sometimes, there were two rooms at a time, sometimes you couldn't even log on, I'm thinking it was just too hard to run the room, so they gave up, same with the IM's. Lost

it has always been my understanding..  .. that if you could not play by the rules or play nice with others in the "chat room".... than you was up for being banded from the chat room .  ... I know several people that got banded for not playing nice ..   ..
I must have been in the chat room at weird times cause I dont remember people being mean and nasty in there..  . now if someone came in the room and started off hitting on everybody in the room..  .. well yeah .... the room would respond to it after a while..  . but normally they asked for what ever they got .  . the fact is I met alot of good people in there and enjoyed being able to have them to talk to...
