Sorry it took so long to get them made public........I was a little pre-occupied the last couple of weeks.

As was previously stated in a blog about a Redneck Shower I made the centerpieces for that lovely occasion and yes....there is a story behind them.

I have a very special garden in my side yard. It has taken a while to get it going just right but I grow some lovely bottles of beer.........most of them are full 12 oz bottles by July 4th. They begin to bloom in early May and with the right amount of water, sunshine and party music I get quite a bountiful harvest in time for the fireworks. If I pamper a few of them long enough I have some 40 oz bottles ready for Labor Day.

Anyway.......since we were having a Redneck Wedding Shower we needed to have just the right centerpieces for the table. So I fought back the guilt of alcohol abuse and plucked more than 3 dozen of my best blooms, drank 3 of my finest left from last year and made the centerpieces.

Luvvy and Duvvy loved their decorations and I am happy to say that the blooms held up better than I thought so I brought them home and replanted them. I know I won't get full 12 ouncers out of 'em but it looks like I am going to get me some cute little 8 oz bottles for quick sips.
