We've all heard the mantras, and we've all heard the apologists for recent disaster leaders who destroyed everything they touched before being shown the door. We watched as they defend their indefensible actions. Not with actual results, but by saying no one else could do better.

The last few years have been a lesson in what not to do. Here's a hint. If everyone tells you your wrong, you probably are. When your way doesn't work, and everyone sees it, defending it afterward just makes you look stupid.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly warm on the new guy either. But when everything someone touches turns to shit, there's pretty much nowhere to go but up with their replacement.

For years all I've heard is that everything is fine when it clearly wasn't. And as soon as enough people had enough of the deception, back-stabbing, and ill-thought ideas, the switch was flipped on long overdue change.

So bring him on. We need the change. The old ways are why we are where we are. Instead of hoping he fails, I'm going to hope for success. because even though I'm not sure about him, the guy he's replacing was a complete failure in every sense of the word. So here you are, you've got your chance. I'm counting on you not to f*** it up.
