I have to chuckle with the latest spam/scam e-mail I received.
It's from a guy who claims to be a prince...
MR,PRINCE WILLIAMS.FROM THE ROYAL GOLD MINING COMPANY IN GHANA
To be exact.

I know he's a businessman because he used the word business 10 times in his brief introduction.

"I WANT TO ESTABLISH MY BUSINESS ABROAD.
I NEED SOMEONE WHO IS A BUSINESS MINDED, WHO CAN HELP ME HANDLE THIS BUSINESS.
FINALLY, I NEED SOME ONE WHO WILL BE MY ASSISTANT IN THIS BUSINESS"

I think I'll pass on his offer. I'm so... tired of gold these days

But you might want to contact MR. PRINCE WILLIAMS for some business.

That's my blog for the afternoon....
Oh, in case you're interested in knowing about the 7-10 spam messages I've been getting daily, I always report them and usually reply with the e-mail of the previous spammer. They don't seem to come back complaining I gave them the wrong e-mail. touché

Maybe that's why you're getting 7-10 per day. I don't get that many in a month. Those replies you send contain your own addy in the headers and confirm that it's alive. Don't EVER reply to a spammer.

exvagabond, it's the e-mail that comes to me at Matchdoctor and not my personal account.

I'm unaware of any headers we can see here.

On my personal e-mail, I have a program called 'mailwasher' it allows me to preview my messages and delete or bounce mail without having to load it to my computer.
The purpose of bouncing mail back to the sender... if they are automated, the system will stop sending mail to me thinking my e-mail address is closed or doesn't exist.
Works great, I only get 1 or 2 spam messages a month on that account.
