Ok so something totally strange has happened. I've fallen for someone who has the very same first name as I do. Weird I know but I guess Daddy wanted a boy so he named me Mickey , now I've went and fallen for someone with that same name. I'm still tripping over this but we've had a lot of fun introducing each other to our friends and family because we'll say Mom this is Mickey and they are like WTF?

	As long as his last name isn't mouse, I wouldn't kick. If it gets too annoying, you could change your name to Minnie, but then everybody will say ............

	There would be reason to worry if the surnames are the same. Otherwise it's all good.

	This is rather cute. My friend's little sister used to call me Mickey because she couldn't say my name.......Vicki. My boyfriend's name at the time? Mickey. Things could be much worse. There is an old country tune by Johnny Cash called "A Boy Named Sue"..........be glad his name is Mickey! That would have really confused people!

	I have a male friend whose name is Stacey. He met, fell in love with, and married a woman who also has the first name of Stacy. She kept her maiden name after the wedding. :P

	I remember a new girl showed up at school, one year, whose name was Cameron Stacey She was in the exact same seat, except on the opposite side of the room, as the boy who'd been going to that school for a while, Stacey Cameron. Some teachers had people write last name first, and some had people write first names first, on papers they turned in - then had students grade them and hand them back to the owner.. yeah, there was a lot of confusion. Especially when we switched papers for grading with other classrooms. I remember there was some hilarity based on the office sending for one of them, too. The person was told to get one of them, but, they also didn't know if it was first name first or last name first; the description they received was "tall, thin, and freckled" Which normally would have cut it, as no one else in the school fit that descriptoin - just those two!
