I understand how some people can love him and hate him. I choose to miss the performer...the dancer and singer. I remember when my guitar idol Eddie Van Halen reportedly played the guitar part of the song beat-it for nothing as he thought no one was ever going to hear the song or album...Thriller was the biggest selling CD of all time. RIP Michael...you will be missed here!

The cute little Michael of the Jackson five died long ago, at the hands of plastic surgeons and managers. Shiek Michael of Dubhai didn't have a lot left to lose.
Perhaps we demand too much of entertainers, more than a natural human can provide.

Tom> Don't we also demand that of each other as well? We just lack the news channels there to witness our odd demands of each other.
For me, Michael's story is sad in that his oddness magnified our ability to vilify him. Never found guilty of child abuse...we want to believe it anyway. We do know one of those sets of charges was manipulated by a parent who saw a piggy bank. I know none of us know what is real...which means we lean toward believing what we want to believe...and then run with it. I've never come to a conclusion on his guilt or innocence...but...the culture's response to his odd behaviors, his difference...
...only justifies his sense of social isolation as a cure for dealing with a species unpredictable but in its cannibalism.

"the girl is mine" beautifully sung with paul mccartney loved the exchange at the end of the tune

I was just mentioning to Tom that people do push themselves to limits for their fans. Elvis did, Ali did (although he's not dead, his brains have been beat in enough), Michael did, Jim Morrison as Tom said, and numerous others, maybe Marilyn Monroe, early deaths, trying to please their fans where pressure gets to them to do better, look better, perform better. Athletes tear tendons, muscles, push to the limits in sports, all to do better. Even in my business we train horses to their limits to please the judges we work long hours to win and do better, please our clients. Sell a product, don't drag down the man, maybe people have played a part of his death, he's due respect of each of us, for this early death. Lost

I, for one, have never believed the allegations about Michael Jackson. He was never found guilty of 'playing' sexually with these boys. It is very wrong to accuse him. This man has been singing since he was a very young child. When did he ever have the time to act as most children do.......and should? He missed out on all of that. No playing in the front or back yard or around the neighborhood with friends......no sleepovers......no nothing. He built a playland so that HE could play as a child along with other children. Some very sick people saw a way to make some money.....and they took that way. What a shame they would teach their children to fabricate the truth...........for filthy money. Oh, well.......I hope they're living well with what they've done. Michael Jackson may have had issues.....and yeah.......even may have been 'tetched in the head', but again!.....not found guilty of what he was accused of doing.
Now............he can finally RIP. You will be missed, Michael.

I saw this blog title and was hoping it was a joke. I am in shock!
I just saw his death announcement on Yahoo! news headlines, right next to Farrah's. Such a loss in both. I always find it amusing that people are so quick to judge someone that they have never met and personally gotten to know. I mean, come on, do you really think you can get an accurate idea of the true inner person from media stories? Regardless of the person, the world had lost a great entertainer today.

May I remind you that Jackson was found NOT GUILTY May I remind YOU, that so was O.J. Simpson!
It is my wholehearted belief that O.J. and Michael both got "the best justice money can buy."
It has been oft stated that the previous "king" (Elvis) was "too young to die, but too fat to live"...Wacko Jacko was too young to die, but too weird to live!
Just my .02's worth, sincerely, "Mac"

You should be the one who should be ashamed of your self.. The man passed away today!!! I have to agree with Trip. Who are we to judge? And to pass judgement without knowing the facts on the day the man passed away?? As soon as I read all those extortion stories back then I KNEW there was something fishy about it all. His childhood and his life were unlike anyones before or will probably ever be. He was odd, no doubt about it. But who am I to judge him. We don't know, we really don't. Rest in Peace
btw, if he is guilty of all those accusations, we won't rest in peace...that is between him and.........

Being weird doesn't automatically mean you are guilty of being a child molester. Not like the media has always told the truth or never made anyone out to be guilty when no one really knows if they are or aren't.
None of us were there...we don't know. I am not a fan of Michael Jackson but I believe he was made out to be something he wasn't.....true he didn't help his cause with his behavior.. but that doesn't mean he molested children. Once the media makes a story out to be gospel truth no one in the limelight ever gets their life back do they?
I hate the way people jump on the bandwagon to flog someone who is already dead.

Hey POPO, give it up man, your pathetic attempts to defend the female race, makes you look cheap. And furthermore, the female creature doesn't need defended, they're more lethal than a toxic venom. Spoken like a true Knucklehead, your bedizen comments of women are both ignominious and vile, the only toxic venom is your own antipathy and impertinent anguine thoughts of women.
If defending Womanhood makes me look cheap, Then consider me, as your Dollar Store Nightmare...
I don't defend Womanhood because they can not defend them selves...Oh No! No! They can and will do just fine without me.. I do it because your repulsive and attack something, I love and adore as well as hold in high esteem.
Manhood isn't determined by what we attack, but rather by what we protect...
I respect no man who disrespects women or hurts them, and of course I'm very willing and able to have that Coward try it with me... But those who do it,hide behind a screen, and don't have the guts to take another man on mano y mano.. because of their asthenia ....

Popo I agree 100 percent.. No woman should ever be disrespected... I know one brought me into this world and without her i wouldn't be here nor would anyother man on earth be without a mother,,
Also I don't think the dead should be disrespect..There is a time and a place for that kind of stuff...Sometimes mocking the dead comes back to haunt you in your dreams... I'm sure the Jackson family is having a hard time with Michaels death like any other family would when a member is lost.. It's hard to lose a loved one..
I'm no real Jackson fan nor did I like the things that he did....But I won't dispect his past either.. The man his gone.. He had his good side and his bad.. We are not here to judge others...but judge ourself by the person we are meant to be..
Popo I like must of the things yo say on these blogs because you stand up and want to be heard.. There is always two sides to an issue. Some people see things different then others and want to void the other arugment all together like there opinion are the only true ones.. That isn't how life gets played out..We all are subject to our own likes and dislikes no matter what..
Popo that poet guy has his head in the clouds..He says he is neither party.. If that is correct then i'm old st nick..... He is as one party as they get..lol At least if you one party like he seems to be --- be man enough to admit it... He isn't... I'll admit my party is republican for now... former democrat a few years ago.. I seen the light... Maybe i'll change again if one party comes up with someone with at least half a brain.. None seem to have that now... Just my opinion..lol

The saddest thing about his death is imagining how his molestation victims must feel that this drug addicted child molestor is being celebrated like he is a hero. I'm quite sure they are happy they got the all might dollar out of him before he croaked and are spending it out of this country somewhere. It's amazing how only in America these claims came forward but no where else have they....the drug abuse has yet to be proven. Why is it all of a sudden when a man in his 50's passes...drugs had to be the sole reason? I'm 39 and if I died tonight...it wouldn't be from abusing drugs...I am diabetic....

Some people cannot tolerate any opinions but their own, and arrogantly assume that their point of view is the only valid one. You apparently are one of them.
Tisk tisk!
