Well....did giving the speech go well? Yep!

I changed it about 8 times today using everyones advise from last night! I want to thank you all for the help.

The parents and grandparents were wonderful and very receptive. The parents know me for being someone who is always joking around (nothing like I am on here ), so I did what a friend suggested (thank you) and started the speech with a joke. Everyone laughed and I gave my speech with confidence.

After the graduation upstairs, I asked everyone to go down to the rec room for refreshments. Once there, I told them that we put together a DVD with music and pictures from Sep.-June of the children. I played it during the party. When they were leaving to go home I handed each of the children a copy of the DVD!

It was a wonderful day! I think next time I have to speak, I will be less nervous!
