If not for the fact that I believe he is a child molester, I would probably feel quite sorry about Michael Jackson's death. As it is, I don't.
Farrah Fawcett, on the other hand is a sad tale. I'm especially sorry that she suffered so much.
If I had a wish it would have been to swap the situations and have Jackson suffer a long slow death from anal cancer and Fawcett go suddenly without long suffering.
I think it would have been more appropriate.
God apparently has a cruel sense of humor.

I'm really sorry that the two hour coverage that was due to be given to Farrah was cancelled due to a higher profile media event. But that is not MJ's fault, we have to give the media credit where it's due... 
It really was a sad week from a lot of perspectives. The world changed and features of it we long took for granted just left it. I honestly think we need a few reminders from time to time as to just how privileged we are.
Anyway I'm sorry the world lost both Farrah and MJ this week. That's the fairest thing I can think of to say. I never knew either of them but maybe I would have been glad to...

If i have to listen to anymore of his "music"  , i may have cardiac arrest.
Went out with the girls for about an hour last night. The Bar that we were at was ONLY playing his stuff. I stayed for 5 minutes. can't listen to it anymore.
Farrah Fawcett's death and last few months of life was far more terrible. That poor woman suffered and suffered. It was hard to watch. Just as hard as watching Thriller one more time.  (sorry, had to throw it in there)
I feel terrible for Farrah's family. I'm just sorry she didn't get to have her wedding before she passed.

What does it say about a society when they hold a child molester up to be a national icon?
Frankly, I think it's pretty sickening. As if being a good musician is more important.
It isn't hard to predict that Jackson stories, sightings and conspiracy theories will be even more perennial and long lived than Elvis stories.
So get out your barf bag and prepare for the never ending tales, it's going to be a long, sickening ride.
It's new fodder for slow news days and the slow of mind.
