To me the difference in opinions of the two priests in the movie poseidon adventure says it all. Water is filling up the space I occupy, should I sit and wait for god to save me or should I use common sense to get the hell out of here. Cause of a personal experience I truly believe in a higher power, but; I also believe we are kind of on our own for now. I am not smart enough to figure out which if any religion has it right, hence I am not religious. I can only speak for myself, but I feel many don't have a problem with people being religious. However, I think a problem arises when a religious belief considers those that don't share this belief as less than worthy as a moral person, or want us all to live under policies based on these beliefs.
