Michael Jackson, President Obama, Elvis Presley and so on are an image created by illusion and the individual behind that illusion a far cry from the apparition they created or allowed to be created. Who’s ultimately responsible for them?, us. We created the environment for them to exist and ultimately led or will lead to their demise. They are or were a vision of our wants , needs and dreams. Gods created and destroyed by the mass. The reality of their contributions to the big picture, miniscule at best. Those of real significance often unnoticed, uncompensated or dethroned.
Why some don’t want to believe that these people are capable of the most heinous is because they don’t want to believe or can’t bring themselves around to believe that they are capable of such things. Remove a person from reality and soon what you get is a world of unreality. We would be retarded as a people to believe that someone(s) didn’t warn Michael Jackson of the implications of sleeping with children and those warnings were ignored . His need to sleep with children out weighed the implications of.
President Obama an icon that the reality of who he is, what he previously has done and his capability of doing thrown to the curb because of his race. Elvis Presley a drug addicted womanizer that if you were a loving wife of would view or have an opinion of in the true light. These people all larger then life to those who’s life has little more purpose then a glove, a race or a shake. How these people gain such wealth, power and glorification is a product of a society with little more interest other then being entertained or disillusioned to the point that understanding right from wrong has been seriously compromised.
Who we put on the mantle or pedestal friends is ultimately where we will end up. If you want to idolize a drug addicted womanizer, a 46 year-old entertainer that sleeps with children or a less then honest or forth coming leader of the free world then the consequence of is not only yours but the rest of us. To honor people like this then ask why or blame other’s for the consequences of is digging the world into a early grave.
In closing,
Michael Jackson would most likely be alive today if the image, illusion and false importance of him wasn’t so important to the mass. Barack Obama wouldn’t be President, the leader of the free world if the American people put reason before fallacy. Elvis Presley hardly a role model for all to follow. Who we idolize is a reflection of who we are and where we are going . If Michael Jackson or any of the above are more important to you then those who fight for your freedom, cure disease, save your life, replace your hip, feed the starving or come to your side in your hour of need then you’re the problem.

Ive always thought that unless youve walked a mile in somebody elses shoes...had to live the life that others have done.....when fame and fortune was found at a young age and there was nothing else in life that had any meaning to oneself....how all the great things and passion they have givin so many because of what they did in their lives.....unless youve walked down that road......how easy it is to sit back and judge someone else and how they lived......towards the end of their lives.....it sure must be nice to be so sure that you yourself have not made a few mistakes in your life thats not been splashed across the news and been written about in news papers world wide for all to see......i wonder if youd be so quick to judge if it was.......cookie

OK, I agree ....we do seem to overlook ones imperfections if they are famous. Yes it is wrong......many get away with things that would put us in jail for many years. It makes me sad that we seem to look the other way if one is rich or in the public eye and it would cause public outrage. Even though they are guilty or have the meens to pay expensive lawyers. Funny how when they pass we seem to forget the wrongs......

Many famous people didn't start out with vises, they had talent that fans craved and the stress of living a forced life of seclusion often of depression made the Doctors start people like Jackson and Elvis on drugs. They were advised and soon hooked. They were men of generosity and gave hope to many. You can pick out the bad parts of their personalities but they as well as others stars that died an early death like Marilyn Monroe had great charitable and worth to their lives as well. I would say they did more good to serve man and bring joy with their talent and music than bad,and will be remembered as so. If anyone doesn't think so, they are just jealous of their talent and fame if they can't pick out the goodness and overlook their troubles in their lives. As far as Obama, he doesn't compare to the talent as far as I'm concerned I don't see much success so far, time will tell. Lost

Its usually the same people with different profiles.
First it was Obama is Muslum Terrorist and he doesn't have a Birth Certificate.
Now its Obama is a Communist and all democrats are Socialists or
Obama is a Fascist...he is just like Hitler.
Next it will be Obama is an Alien conspiring to overthrow the governments of the earth.
These profiles have been here for years spouting irrational scenario's. Pissing people off is what they do best and its basically all they know how to do.
I have my small group of friends that I consider good writers...I simply ignore the bigots. I find them boring and stupid and not worth the energy it takes to engage them.
