Tell me what you really think?  This Blog is perfect! I totally Agree if your going to write it, expect some may like it and some may not..  We all understand not everyone is going to agree with our thinking...Hey they have the right to be wrong... I'm kidding...kinda... 
Blogs are here for us to post our personal thoughts, not monitor what others think, if they are rude and crude you can delete their comment I think? I have never had to do that as yet...  But I don't mind if someone doesn't agree, it's merely our opinions...  Just don't post rude or obscene comments, it's mixed company here, that's my only beef... Other then that, I love to read and see the different views and opinions, it's a chance to challenge our own thinking from time to time.
I'm not always right, however I've never seen where I was wrong.... I'm kidding Way to start the Fireworks off....  
don't give a rats a** if you agree or disagree. Comment away! One more thing...........

I have a mental list of "approval waiting" bloggers, and usually skip their blogs.
It is often used in a cowardly way, and Idon't want to waste my time on them.
Marking them on the listing is an excellent idea.

I agree completely. If someone makes a comment that's too out of hand, just delete it. No one has to wait to see if their silly blog will be approved, but they won't extend the same courtesy.
It's just that ol' "my ball and I'm going home" deal again. Pretty popular around here.

I get denied that way and i don't like it.
Most of my comments get denied or just magically never get posted.
I have only policed my blog a few times because of the topics. I won't allow comments that insult people that aren't here to defend themselves.
There's a few people who i won't even comment on their blogs anymore, they never post what i say.

1. As soon as you click the link to post a comment it tells you whether or not it will automatically approved. If you don't want to submit a comment, knowing it might not be approved, then simply don't. No one is putting a gun to your head forcing you to comment.
2. Why do you insist on taking a person's choice away as to whether or not they want to allow your comment or the comment of others? This is not a forum, it's a blog. This is a place for you to have control over what is posted. If you want to participate in a forum, do that. Just because you might choose to allow everyone to comment doesn't mean other people want to do that. Having a choice is always better than not having a choice. Please stop being so arrogant about your own choice that you seek to deprive others of their choices.
3. When you read an article in a newspaper, magazine or on many web sites, you do not have the ability to comment publicly at all. By your definition, that shouldn't be allowed? You know what the format and rules are here, no one is forcing you to participate. There is nothing more annoying than people who know what the rules are, choose to participate anyway, and bitch, bitch, bitch: especially when there is a way for it to work exactly the way they want it to work and all they do is try to control what everyone else can do.
How about you do what you want to do, and let other people do what they want to do?

Actually, that's the whole point of a blog. If people wanted a discussion, they would go to the forums.
But yeah, to only delete all comments that disagree with you proves you never really had anything of value to say in the first place.
