Less there is any lingering doubt about the real reason that the Bush Administration invaded Iraq, today's bombshell news should answer it. Two years before the invasion of Iraq, oil executives and foreign policy advisers told the Bush administration that the United States would remain "a prisoner of its energy dilemma" as long as Saddam Hussein was in power. That secret April 2001 report, "Strategic Policy Challenges for the 21st Century," was prepared by the James A. Baker Institute for Public Policy and the US Council on Foreign Relations at the request of then-Vice President Dick Cheney. The report included a section authored by Ken Lay, then CEO of Enron Corporation. It is a documented fact that two years before the invasion there were maps of Iraq on the walls of the White House, which divided up Iraq among several American oil companies, plus British Petroleum. It is documented fact that Haliburton Corporation was given an exclusive contract to manage existing oil wells in Iraq, six months before Bush announced plans to invade the country. It is quite clear from the wording of the report (it is available online) that Bush, Cheney and their Oil Emprie cronies planned to make Iraq a de facto colony, run by the oil company board rooms in Houston, TX. However, the unanticipated human and fiscal costs of their insanity, made this original objective politically impossible. The heavy presence of American oil companies would have just confirmed the suspicions of Iraqi insurgents.
Think of the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens who have died as a result of he the absolute greed of these evil men. Think of the 4000+ American soldiers, who have died in Iraq . . . or the thousands upon thousands of Iraqi veterans with permanent brain damage or missing limbs or the hundred plus wives and girl friends, who have been murdered by Iraqi veterans shortly after returning home. Think of the trillions of taxpayers' money that was poured into the war. Think of the fact that Al Quaida and the Taliban were allowed to resurge in Afganistan because we were over-committed in Iraq.
The scale of this tragedy is beyond comprehension, especially since it seems like those resposible will go scot free, as usual. Families like the Bushes and Kennedy's seem to be able to get away with any crime they chose.
For about a year now, Paul O'Neill, GW's first Treasury Secretary has been publicly claiming that planning for the Iraqi War began long before the 9/11 terrorist attack. It was just recently however, that investigative journalists were able to obtain an original copy of the incriminating report. This information just adds fuel to fire for "conspiracy theorists" who are convinced that Dick Cheney and several corporate executives knew in advance about the 9/11 attacks and intentionally did nothing.
Question? Have you ever seen a photograph or an eyewitness account of the jetliner that supposedly hit the Pentagon in the exact location where no offices were occupied? It was rush hour, There were several hundred communters on the bridges and expressways around the Pentagon, but no one saw any jetliner come over the Potomac. A friend of mine, who was then a officer in the US Navy, did see a small, white unmarked cruise missle fly over the Potomac toward the Pentagon. He subsequently resigned his commission and left the United States.

I would have happened no matter what president or what party was in power..
The sad thing is there is a shadow government in control...doing things all around the world....
Then we the American citizens..are getting blamed for it..
The Iranian people are saying the same thing as I have just said..
Did you prepare for the apocolypse? Put back some extra food and water?
We have no control over anything...
Its a spiritual war thats about to come to a head.

Yes, the war between the Light and Darkness is about to come to the front of the stage. However, I respectfully disagree about either party being helpless to stop . . . well less say any candidate. During the 2000 campaign, John McCain was painted as a gay in an 84 million dollar TV ad series shown only in the Southeast. Otherwise, he would have probably been the 2000 Republican candidate for president. The money came from oil executives in Texas.
Then, the actual presidential election was blatantly fixed. In addition to the scandal in Florida, several employees of the company that manufactured the electonic voting machines used by most states, have signed sworn affidavits that they were directed by company executive to program the machines to automatically shift 2% of the votes to Republican candidates.
I don't think that the treason that occured in order to make the terrorist attacks possible, would have been covered over by either John McCain or Al Gore.

You can say or think what you will, be blind to facts or a conspiracy theorist. But I have seen to many reports to convince me that the whole deal was a set up from the very beginning. Want something to think about? Just go to YouTube, and do a search for 9/11 conspiracies. Granted, there is a lot of junk and garbage...but there are also some very interesting ones that will open the eyes of a blind man! I knew, and told everyone so, when Bush announced his intentions to run in '99, that before he completed half his term, he would have this country in a war. I live in TX, and was here while he was govenor. I wittnessed to much during his administration to know what kind of person he was. And I've been proven right in that respect. But what can you expect from a country that allows same sex marriages? That bans the Lord's Prayer in school, and even prohibits the Pledge Of Alliange to the American Flag? A country that has no sympathy for the poor, jobless, hungry of their own country, but rather gives billions in aid to other countries? A government that will imprison a man for stealing food to feed his family, but slaps the wrist of a man that openly steals millions? The sad part is, Americans are so used to being lied to and abused by the government that they have given up any hope. They no longer have the will nor desire to fight for their rights. They've let the government create a police organization that controls all personal and private rights all in the name of deterring terriorism. And now they are putting together a bill that will prohibit our rights to own and bear arms, so that it is illegal for a private citizen to own any type of firearm. They are saying that anyone that is younger than 45 will not see social security benefits for retirement. They are creating a national ID system where you are registered in a national database via your drivers license. They are becoming owners of the auto industry, the banking industry, the financial market systems. The government is taking total control of our lives. Think about this for a moment. Then look up the definitions for the differences in socialist and capitolist governments. There is a very thin line in the way our government treats us, and the way that government in Moscow treats its citizens. In fact, Russian and Ukrainian governments treats their citizens better...I know for a fact, because I have traveled several times to both countries, and have friends in both. Don't misunderstand me...I love my country, I've fought and bled for it, and would do so again in a heartbeat. But I have a totally different feeling for the government. Sadly, our way of life is about to change, drastically. By the year 2020, if we are still around, the way of life and freedoms that we have enjoyed will all change, and not for the better.

I have a better idea!
My ancestors have been here in the Southeast for at least 3000 years. Why don't you go back to wherever your ancestors came from? Was it Fascist Serbia, Nazi Germany or Soviet Russsia? chuckle

No, my brother, I like it here. I was born here. It's the life I know. And I am sorry that the first who got here didn't listen to you guys. There is no doubt things would be so much better. You believed in taking care of each other, and the Land, but I don't think the non-producers, lay around do-nothings would be tolerated, nor the "it's all mine" crowd. My point wasn't for you, but for these idiots who've never been anywhere or done anything and who act like they know so much. I like your stuff. I see much wisdom in your words. You usually offer insights that are deep, we need more guys like you that are willing to share your wisdom.
(I know, I will be silent when you say to me, "What?") Sorry, it's just been one of those days......

Using your Brilliant Theory here....We should own all the oil firlds in Kuwatti Afghanistan and Iraq right?
Do you have any clue as to why and when we first went to the middle east in the first place? and at who's invitation? Do you understand anything about the Oil situation
The heavy presence of American oil companies would have just confirmed the suspicions of Iraqi insurgents. Iraqi insurgents?? again do you know who they are? and where their from? just a quick follow up question...did these same terroist also see the maps on the wall at the Clinton White House, when they bombed the trade centers in 93? or is this just another Bush did it post....

Well, shucks, our preacher feller told us that God wanted us God-fearing folks to own all the oil fields in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan, but them thar savages in the desert can't speak King James English, so they can't understand what God is saying. I also done heard that they ain't good Southern Baptists in the desert neither, so they can't be blessed by Jerry Falwell.
My cousin, who teaches Sunday School at the Long Swamp Creek Southern Baptist Church done told me that she thinks that those folks in the desert are secular humanists, or maybe even worse than that, Unitarians . . . shudder! That's why they selfishly wanted to keep all the oil to themselves.
