Things become crystal clear for me in the mountains.

Learning tolerance, patience, and the art of giving surrounded by the rawness of nature, is it's own reward.

I was pampered with Reiki and Healing Touch for most of Saturday afternoon, giving me that special energy to share with friends. One of the patients allowed me to look after her little dog. What a joy that was for me. She was a pekanese crossed with suthin...a little princess.

A men's choir performed on Saturday night and sang Celtic songs, a professional group who donated their time.

The cabins were spacious, with sliding glass doors, and a large porch to view the magesty of the Rocky Mountains. We slept two to a room. My roomate has brain cancer. I've known him for three years, and he is getting much better. His balance has improved considerably. To me he is a walking miracle and inspiration. He has a brilliant sense of humor, which in my opinion, is crucial for survival in any situation.

We only spent the weekend but the memories will last a lifetime.
