So the governors resigned......with 18 months to go in her term.....gonna serve this great country in another capacity....as a private citizen......to join with her people to make this country free of the oil companies that strangle us and to go forth with new ideas that this great country of ours is so sorely missing....yea.......i watched her news statement video......kind of wondered if this has anything to do with her making a fool out of herself with that letterman stunt where she declaired her youngest daughter would be safe from daves grasp.....wonder now how she will keep herself in the news now days.....what foolish thing she will be getting herself into now.....see if the GOP will use her again as an opening act for whoever is gonna run for the high office....deep down inside.....ive kind of missed her in the news.....is it just my imagination......or has she gotten hotter ......looks wise......then she was when she was running for the VP.....she really is a MILF.....i know i would givin a chance....and i bet alot of other guys out there feel the same way.....im even wondering if she might dump her husband ........that way...she will be free to date somebody of power......even some movie star with money.....or some billionaire for that matter.....i know one thing...weve not heard the last of this woman.....i know some how...some way...she gonna put herself back in the news again.....im just not sure how yet.....but i do know one thing.....its gonna be fun to watch......maybe even on her own reality show.....where she might talk about how her husband can not keep up with her many sexual desires.......now thats a show i might watch.....just hope its on a cable station that can show it totally uncut..........cookie

I'm not sure it's possible to string together more cliches, saying nothing, than were in that press conference. I felt like I was reading one of my former students college papers they wrote in an hour where they hoped the prof was empty-headed enough to be impressed with cliches.
Lame-duck politics is 'politics as usual'???? What the sam hill does that even mean???!!! Is there some way for an elected person to not have lame duck status at some point in their term?? SHould they all quit when they get there...establishing a new 'politics as usual'...making way for lieutenant governors to become 'dead duck' politicians?
And no attacks on the Pres or the Dems? Something awfully odd about this situation.
I wish it meant she would disappear from the limelight...but I think she's insured it for awhile.

She is young....she could wait 3 or four election cycles and still run....but she may just disappear from the national stage too. I wouldn't blame her.
I would bet she won't be in the race in 2012.......
She just doesn't need to hurry, if that is truly her goal.
And I do believe she will stay married to Todd.

The news is saying she has a different more ambitious road to take and doesn't wish to continue as Governor as her plate is too full to do both jobs properly to serve the people. You know she didn't make this decision on her own. She has lawyers and advisers as all politicians do you can bet. This has most likely been thought out and they are very well aware how the the public like all of us will react to the announcement with negative remarks as well and are prepared. So nothing is surprising them. Like I said on another blog, she's smarter than everyone gives her credit and you can bet she has something up her sleeve, I think, just watch. She's not my favorite, but time will tell. Lost

I watched her speech in its entirety, and I was truly moved by it, almost to tears.
She has left her post leaving Alaska with money put aside and flourishing,
I feel so sad for her that she had to put up with such hounding.
