Michael Jackson was a drug addicted pedophile who said he slept with little children and who plied them with alcohol which he called "Jesus juice." He spent his entire adult life bleaching the black out of his skin, changing his facial features to look Caucasian and trying to erase every trace of his black heritage.
Yet this is the person that our media and news outlets hold up to be a hero icon? A drug addicted, child molesting freak? This is the guy who the black community embraces as the bearer of their flag and representative of the best they have to offer?

What I havent figured out yet is how anyone considers him to be Black?
He made sure his children were white as his white wife was impregnated by a white man.
He changed all of his facial featured to white.
Yet Al Sharpton makes him out to be the second coming of Jackie Robinson.
I agree - they guy was a freak. Now the BROKE City of Los Aneles is putting on a Memorial for him. It will cost them millions.
Yes people are sick and getting much sicker by the minute.

He made sure his children were white as his white wife was impregnated by a white man. Good point. Why the black community would want anything to do with this freak is beyond my comprehension. I sure wouldn't. He did everything in his power to disavow them.
Just like many white people, many black people are brainwashed automatons who go along with anything the lamestream media feeds them.

Your so right. the only reason anyone is saying how great he was, is because he's dead. Two weeks ago before he died everyone would of said he just a child molester. you can be this terrible monster but when you die your everyone hero. Like dying makes you this great person. It doesn't. It just shows you how f*cked up people can be.

Mr. Rain. You seem like an intelligent person. Here is what you don't understand. The reason he is admired is because of his accomplishments. He was born a poor black boy and turned into a rich white woman. Only in America. Hehe

"Let's knock out the psychobabble. He was a pervert, a child molester; he was a pedophile. And to be giving this much coverage to him, day in and day out, what does it say about us as a country? I just think we're too politically correct."
"No one wants to stand up and say we don't need Michael Jackson. He died, he had some talent, fine. He may have been a good singer, he did some dancing. Bottom line is, would you let your child or grandchild be in the same room with Michael Jackson? What are we glorifying him for?"

I, for the life of me can't understand what the big to-do regarding Jackson is all about. There wasn't this much media hype when both Kennedys were assassinated nor when Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford died.
What troubles me is that this creep is receiving so much media coverage when these people ,who really matter, get NO coverage at all!
We no longer have a news media in this country. They've transformed themselves into "Entertainment Tonight".
Damn. Enough is enough already!!!

Those who have a financial interest in the glorification of Michael Jackson are happy to see the mindless sheeple flock to pay for all things related to him. The more the hype, the more the $$$$ for whoever is in position to benefit from his death. Here comes the new "Neverland!"

Personally I agree with ya'll, but as a child, Michael had no clue of the man he'd become. He only knew he could sing. His parents pushed him into his career, like all parents do when they think they see talent. I actually feel sorry for him, or any singer than ends up in seclusion because fans force their way of life into something that's surreal. I'm not making excuses for his activity towards children, just so many actors like Mariyln Monroe, and such end up dead because they can't handle the stress. It's just kinda sad. Not everyone can handle stardom. Lost

Thank God! Someone is sick and I am about the whole media coverage of Michael Jackson!!! If I see one more "special" I am going to hurl! I agree with everything that has been said above and more.
I don't understand how this pervert in life has become this hero in death. However talented he may have been--and the jury is still out for me any way. His craziness, child molesting ways supercede that. He was a mixed up individual who didn't get the help he needed. If the press want to use him as an exmple fine-but it should be as an example of what not to do!
