Vacationing here at Panama City Beach and it is raining. Do I care? No, not at all. I do wish my daughter and the rest accepted this as something we have no control over though. I just see it as a time to completely relax where as they see it as a waste of time, lol.
Seriously though it is nice to be doing nothing. Sure I could be at home doing nothing but my mind wouldn’t. Weekends off are spent if not doing things that need to be done I’m thinking about my next project to be accomplished. So here it is nice just to have the luxury not to think.
I’ve read a bit………a real hold me book! Napped off and on. Ate whatever I wanted. Oh and my newest thing is Facebook. I have enjoyed reconnecting with friends from High School and others that I know.
Life is pretty good right now.

Yes, although it has taken me just "leaving" to be on vacation, my late husband was one of those that took at least 24 hours to unwind before he actually started enjoying himself. It was an effort every time, and even while on vacation, he always wanted to fit as many sights in to the time we had. It got exhausting!! LOL!! There were times however that I insisted we just slow down!!!!
Anyway, I agree, YOU enjoy!!!

I am glad you are kicking back and not letting something as minor as rain ruin this time. Ask me about freaking thunderstorms or tornadoes that roll through while camping in a tent!
