It seems some people around here say they like their facts, but need to get them straight.

Fact ... Fat doesn't necessarily mean unhealthy! People forget there are athletes who put the shot, throw javelin and discus who are BIG in more ways than one!
Fact ... Big Women do get married ... Big Beautiful Bride > Angel <

Fact ... Media hype and the Fashion industry (mainly run by gay men) have forced women into believing > This < is more attractive than > This <. Kiera Knightly might be naturally thin, but she looks positively anorexic in that photograph. It is in no way attractive and feminine in my opinion.
Please note, I'm stating this is just my opinion. Unlike some, I accept others might not agree. Unlike some, I also believe when you're defending yourself you might also offend others.
I find it so very strange people accept thin people just can't help being thin even if they don't want to be and are considered more healthy just because they don't carry fat around on their bodies. I find it so very strange that those who do carry fat on their bodies are automatically presumed unfit, stuff their faces by the minute with unhealthy food and can lose weight in an instance but don't want to.
I wonder sometimes if thin men are attracted to thin women ... I worry their bodies wouldn't fit at all well together and love making would leave bruises on both parties. Perhaps most men professing to prefer thin or skinny women have plenty of padding, or a masochistic streak. Looking around me, I generally find opposites attract. Skinny people like something to cuddle up to and Cuddlies like to wrap themselves around something lithe.
Perhaps men who prefer women with no breasts, waist or rear are homosexuals in denial. It's true to say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but generally when people fall in love, it's with the person inside the body. They don't enter into that relationship with a pre-set agenda as to the packaging, they're just minding their own business one day, then bam! Suddenly there she/he is. When you really love someone it won't make an ounce of difference if they're fat or thin, it won't matter if they put on weight or lose it, it won't matter if they lose their hair or teeth, because they're the same person inside.

No wonder there are so many people out there who are still single. How on earth do they expect to find someone when they're not willing to look a little way below the surface of others? "Oh, no, no, no, you is tooooooo fat, a pity 'cos you is real pretty, lose a few pounds and I might consider giving you a call." Remarks like this just make me want to go eat a ton of icecream and physically put on weight in front of these arseholes. A female friend of a friend told me once it was a pity I couldn't lose weight because I was really pretty and she could introduce me to lots of men. "Yeah, Barbie, lots of men who don't mind f***ing skinny women who look 18 from behind and 56 from the front because they don't eat anything except salad and laxative and drink more alcohol than Oliver Reed on a bad day." I told her she could keep her men, I didn't want them anyway.
In short, there are some ignorant f***ers on this site. I'm not mad, I'm proud to be a bigger girl. I'm also proud to be a woman. It doesn't matter what size we are ... ALL BEAUTIFUL

Im agree with much of what you say, but; I would think the athletic javelin thrower gets plenty of exercise. I don't believe the ama either, higher risk of heart attack, diabetes, stroke, weakening of the joints, high blood pressure and on. As a fellow American I defend one's right to eat what one wants, and I've kissed a few fat asses, not bad. However, if people as smokers are going to be super taxed for unhealthy behavior, I don't want to be un-American by discriminating against the fat asses, and feel they should be super taxed also. See how silly it can get, and just may well.

I think some men like thinner women because that is what the media portrays as the ideal woman. It is shoved down their throats. Do you notice alot of heavier women advertising products? Not really. Isn't it that the average size for most adult women is at least a size 14? To me that's not even large, but in the fashion world it would be considered obese. Have you ever seen these models who look anorexic and have died because they would not eat, just to keep their jobs? How sad is that.
Not too long ago I decided to eat healthier, you know, eliminate junk food, things of that nature, so I did, hardest thing I've ever done, I love all kinds of food. I lost a ton of weight eliminating the carbs and sugar, went down to a size 4, now...I am 5'9" tall so you can imagine how frail I looked. I thought I looked good at the time, well....I could buy all these cute little clothes, yes little lol. Guys were telling me I looked good, yes, I swear the media had gotten ahold of their brains lol. But....I wasn't happy, so I went back to eating those carbs and now I am a happy and content size 12 with some extra baggage around the middle and I'm proud to be who I am, not what people think I should be.
So....ladies, don't let the media rule who you are, it's just a created image. We are all beautiful no matter what size we are.

Personally, I don't begrudge anyone their preference...as I certainly have my own...but as the saying goes....
We can lose the fat, maybe....but ugly is to the bone! And quite frankly, some people need only open their mouths or put finger to keys & type & their ugly shows thru like a blinding light!

Im not exactly slim!
Im a size 16 here and a 18 in the UK.
Sometimes a woman can get away with her weight.
Even tho Im a 16, I can still turn heads when Im all dressed and made up.. and no one seems to notice the weight.
A lot of times its how the women CARRY the weight that makes all the difference.
Its called making the most of ones self.

None of it matters...here is what does matter, to me at least...
If I can't pick her up in my arms and carry her to the bedroom and lay her gently on the bed without suffering spinal cord pain..then there is too much of her!
So, that puts any woman that I am ever going to be with at a maximum of 185 pounds..that is my weight and that is what I can comfortably carry...
fortunately for me, my wife is 4'10" and 85 pounds of wild, Chinese tiger!  (She fits in my pocket!)

Im kinda glad I am a bigger woman now.. my Mac would never have caught my attention if not for a bbw site... truly.. he had emailed me on lots of other sites and I ignored him because I felt that maybe it was just the face he fell for .. but when he found me on a bbw site and emailed me I realized it was not just a pretty face thingy.. it was actually me he was interested in...and I could not be happier.. there are wonderful men of normal size who prefer larger women and have no need to bash skinny women like a LOT of men do who prefer thin women do .. guess they are just a helluva lot more mature huh?? Great blog

He's been a jerk for yrs under a different name & he is still a jerk so let us take him for that & not let him get to us. I've sparred with him myself in his other name over his "opinion" of overweight women & public schooling but I know he isn't worth my time & energy. He does this to stir the pot. I care about everyone for whom they are inside, no other reason. I am thin but certainly no Barbie, a real human with feelings so I only ask that when he upsets others please do not attack people like me cuz we think he is an arse as well. Please people, refrain from comments like these ....most of us really don't deserve it & it is just as hurtful & untrue to us, as what the jerk says...........thanks

I agree with this comment. We to have sparred and it doesn't do any good. Most of the time he writes because his company is doing poorly and he needs to vent on people whom he deems as weak. f*** him...you go on with your happy life and let him continue to be miserable. Anyone who shares his way of thinking is probably just as miserable as him....Take care!
