Nothing has caused more problems to humanity than the idea that we are somehow capable or should even aspire to the ideals of Non judgement and Unconditional Love. We judge and condition our love all the time. To not do so would be to invite everybody into our lives and let them stay without thought or repercussion. Certainly there are times when we can show compassion and understanding for others while conditionally keeping them at a distance or love them from afar. As far as judgement is concerned, anybody that has ever broken up with a boyfriend, had a divorce or let go of a friend has passed judgement. The Judgement that they are no longer needed in that capacity anymore. Which I don't have a problem with. Judgement has been and will always be a part of society. Yes, you can still love them unconditionally as a human being, but you certainly won't them into your bedroom or life in their former role, which is, you guessed it is conditional love. Where judgement and unconditional love are problems is when we try and make them absolutes or black and white answers to life and love. Which they will never be, and never should be. Yet sometime during the day somebody will say don't judge others and we should love unconditionally. Only in the most general of terms is this even remotely possible.

It is not a myth, the problem is we crucified the only one capable of it some 2000 years ago, it is our's to try and be like that however we, because we are humans, fall short. We should however always keep striving to be that way and not write it off as a myth that can never be.

I agree with Visa, there are lessons to learn while we are here. One is to learn to not be judgmental, perhaps thats why reincarnation makes the most sense to me... for those who judge another might come back as those we judge.
and unconditional love... thats tough and until we as humans achieve the unconditional love of a dog for example, we still have many lifetimes go

Good posting! Don't be dicouraged by new age, feel good whack jobs. Their world is about to come crashing down on them and they'll be as clueless then as they are now. If one has any doubt as to the magnitude of distortions confronting the weak minded, one has only to look at the week-long worship fest for a deceased pedophile. If America were a person, it would be declared mentally incompetent.

Dizzy raises a valid point...if you want truly unconditional love, get a dog.
On the other hand, if you want tons of judgemental garbage and very conditional love....get married!
Maybe throw in a few kids for good measure, too
Me, I'll just stick with my dog, 'cause I know he loves me absolutely.
Just my .02's worth, sincerely, "Mac"
