This is not a political statement in regard to parties, I blame they all, but; most of all I blame we Lambs led to slaughter for not demanding better. You can insult the messenger, but; can't change facts. We are 23rd. in education, did you get that 23rd, drugs have effected almost every family, prisons are full at 25 to 30 thousand $ a pop and crime is rampant, people just walk across our borders and make themselves at home, 13 year old girls have replaced the good night kiss with oral sex, ( talk about health care costs ) we killed our manufacturing base, corruption is everywhere and killed our financial base with it's jobs, and on and on. They are doing their best to keep inflation down, but; if this hits we will see what you can't get your head around at this point in time. What is the # now, 13 million seeking work, well, there is another 9 million that planned to retire that can't afford to now, thus in effect 9 million more jobs lost. Turn around in a year, to an extent when trillions are pumped into the economy creating for the most part fake tax payer jobs. My a hole opinion, which I hope is just that, is any real turn around will take years and America will not be the big dog on the block. Is the sky falling, well, form your own a hole opinion.

I mean no offense by this, but you are considerably older than I. And I've been hearing the end of the world sky is falling stuff for decades. So no doubt you've heard them for even decades more.
And the sky didn't fall, we're all still here.

Yep. That stimulus package is working out great, isn't it? People are still losing jobs at a rate of 500k per month. More jobs are heading overseas each week. This is a consumer based economy and no one is consuming much these days. How the hell can they if they are unemployed or fear losing their jobs? The American auto industry, in my opinion, will be non-existent in the near future. I don't know any people out of work who plan on buying a new car or anything else for that matter.
My a hole opinion, which I hope is just that, is any real turn around will take years and America will not be the big dog on the block. I hold the same opinion and I hope we're both wrong.

LB> Take a step back from your 'a hole opinion' and listen to this blog and the many on here shouting, screaming, asserting..whatever...
'the sky is falling! the sky is falling!'
From the distance, from standing back from all the doom, gloom, boom, and varoom...what do you see as the underlying pretext of all the pontificating about how the sky is falling, the sky is falling?
From a distance...what is the role of 'we' in there when it is not either 'those stupid people (the other 'we')' or 'we're so righteously brilliant 'we'?' Is there a role?
One group of voices...wants us to believe its politicians, or them thar liberals or moonbats or whatever the nomenclature of loathing and fear might be....
One group of voices wants us to believe its us Americans, we are just dumber than a door...
*whoa! I almost just got hit by a piece of sky fallin!*
But notice...the voice is one of armchair Rip Van Winkles in a sense...somehow...out of nowhere...the world went a different direction...while they slept and had nuttin to do wid it. Then...out of nowhere because of awful, lazy, disgusting people of whatever label, made the world all go to hell in a handbasket. And we're changing vehicles so we can go to hell on a bullet train!!!
But....
But...
standing at a distance and listening to all this lament and moaning and lashing of the wrongdoers...what do any of these pontificating blogs offer about what to do?
Or offer insight non-political, non-religious into how we lost our way...
Which of these respondents say something substantive, backed by evidence and the rules of logic, that make it possible for people to both agree and follow along with what they're saying?
The world might be a mess. Might be a big F***ing mess...
So?
So what???
Suppose it's true.
Anyone telling you why it is a mess on here will be drinking the swill from their herd's feeding trough...
unless they're trying to get people to look at their internal life and how they've contributed to this mess, as people, not self-distancing imposed labels...
and unless they're offering something less pablum-like than revolution, vote them bums out or whatever, in which people continue to seemingly relinguish control of solutions to others in the future.
RIght here today...the economy hurts. Taxes won't solve it. Neither with cutting taxes. Stimulus won't solve it...neither will no stimulus. Schools suck...and vouchers won't solve that.
People won't vote for school boards, or county supervisors, where they are neighbors running. People blame, and blame and blame...and then...do what???
Well...they drink the herd swill and moo...but what does that have to do with anything...other than running around as if one's head is cut off?
*Dayum! Almost just got hit with another piece of sky! You doin that?*
