The last few days I have been busy decorating. I have been putting off painting the lounge because we have plans to knock down an exterior wall and make a large hallway, but as its not likely to happen any time soon, I thought I may as well go ahead and paint.
I never know which way round you do it.. whether its paint the edges first, then roller.. or roller.. then paint the edges.. 
We got Laura Ashley colours, they dont need primers, so although they are more expensive, it saves money on buying primers and a lot of work.
Anyway, I stated painting the lounge, then realised how high the ceilings are, I tried balancing on a small step ladder.. but it was very wobbly and I had nothing to hold on to.
And I do like something to hold on to you know!!
So Gregg comes home with a decorators ladder.
He comes home later to find all the lounge painted and furniture put back
The day before I had painted the kitchen, everywhere was a pale grey and I hated it,, so now the kitchen is a dusky yellow and the lounge a terracotta, (very fashionable ya know) 
So now I have the painting bug.
Now I'm looking at other rooms to paint.. Ive thought of doing the bedroom in a scarlet red with gold trimming...
In between that and working on a friends portrait, I'll certainly have plenty to do!

So now I have the painting bug. Good!
Now come over and paint my kitchen! 
I'll even make you a nice sandwich with pickles, cheese,onions, lettuce and all the trimmings.

Oooooooooooo I love a red bedroom, it's the color of love and passion. I think you should put in one of them old fashioned goldish colored phones. Sounds like your place is coming along. I started some remodeling as well, putting in a new bathroom sink this weekend I hope and counter. But there's a rodeo Sat. so priorities, come first, so ya know, off to the rodeo lol. Lost
