go to drug rehab and the poor bastard on the street goes to prison. Portugal didn't leagalize the use of drugs, they decrimilized the use and when busted rehab is offered. Drug use went down 10% and there are not crazed addicts flying into their country. The group that objects is law enforcement, which had me wonder why, could it be their bread and butter is crime. 70% of those in prison are there for drug related crimes when superior rehab facilities have a 70% sucess rate. Wouldn't it make sense to have 70% of the 70% become free of their addiction. Some ask for solutions and I offer this as a good start in regard to the drug problem.
