I have always loved Sara Palin...Shes is honest and has proven her distaste for corruption..by getting rid of Stevens..She came to Alaska to clean up the Republican corruption there...and she was succeeding..
She and her husband and son are all now registered non-partisan..so that should tell you something about her and her family..they see the truth of whats going on...as many of us right here on MD do as well.
America didnt become the greatest nation ever because the American people are stupid...quite the opposite..
So why do we need the gov. to 'take care of us cradle to grave?" Who is selling that crap? Only those who stand to monetarily benefit from it thats who..Such as Gores 'carbon credits'..wow..i just cant believe these people..thats why Palin freaks them out so badly..that they have to use their 'Media Machine' to try to take her out....But its NOT working..In fact..they are just helping her....

The pundits are wrong. Conventional wisdom is wrong. Sarah Palin's decision to step down as Alaska governor was a brilliant move.
Palin has some of the best political instincts I have ever seen. She became a pop-culture superstar overnight when John McCain made her his veep pick, and she's still second only to President Obama among politicians the public is interested in. Even in liberal San Francisco, she'd be front-page news if she ever came to town.
But that kind of celebrity comes at a high price. What a lot of people don't know is that Palin entered Alaska politics as a reformer attacking the corruption of the state's Republican establishment. As such, she was the darling of the Democrats - until she hooked up with McCain.

If Palin wants to play on the national field, she has to be free to move around. She has to be able to drop into Indiana, Ohio or Tennessee and help Republican candidates raise money. She has to be available for radio and TV.
Now she can study up on issues where she is lacking and become a full-time political celebrity.

The polarizing GOP phenom told The Washington Times she plans to immediately hit the campaign trail for conservatives - and maybe even a few Democrats - after she leaves office in two weeks. The event is closed to the media, but Palin's appearance is bound to garner tons of attention. "I don't think she quit. I think she changed her priorities," McCain told NBC's "Meet the Press." Palin will also work on her book, for which she got a rumored $6 million advance, but would not discuss whether she had any plans to become a TV host. "I can't talk about any of those things while I'm still governor," she said. Seventy-one percent of Republicans nationwide told the Gallup Poll this week that they were likely to vote for her if she runs for President in 2012.

GOP Strategist Ed Rollins echoes what many are already speculating: Sarah Palin's timing is very, very suspicious.
"Everyone's goint to assume there's another story," Rollins told CNN. "You don't just quit with a year-and-a-half to go as governor. You certainly don't do this as a stepping stone to run for president. You finish the job that you're in, and obviously she's not doing that. I think people are going to be very suspicious because of the timing. You don't quit on a Friday of a three-day holiday.
"If you're going to do this, you think it through, you give a good speech. You basically have an audience. I think, to a certain extent, this has just made her look totatlly inept."
