A strange thing happened today. I made a note on some paperwork I was carrying around all morning. It was a single word I wrote in all caps and when I looked at it I realized that it didn't look at all like my handwriting. It was a moment or two before it hit me that it was the handwriting of a man I used to work for. Well – I said it was strange – I never said it was interesting.

I didn't sleep well last night, and when I did I had those short crazy psycho dreams. You know, the ones where you wake up embarrassed that your sub conscience could come up with such things. But then, I've always felt funny about dreams. There's always a pinch of regret when I wake up; regret that I can dream such things and regret that I can only dream such things.

I'm eBaying items now with an indefinite length of time, you know, until it's sold. That means I have to keep the items around a lot longer. I like to smoke cigarettes in me office/computer/eBay room and so I put my long term items inside a cabinet that's inside the closet so they don't smell like smoke. I even put baking soda in the cabinet. I went a step further and put a couple of Renuzit air fresheners in the closet. I got the scent “Super Odor Killer”. Now this whole side of the house smells like an adult book store. Or at least, that's how I would imagine one of those places smell . . .

I'm thinking of relocating. Every time a national publication has one of those “Best Places in America to Live” lists, number 1 is always some city/town outside of Denver. It was Fort Collins and then Loveland and today I read where Louisville, Colorado is #1 among small towns. And yes, this ungodly heat has brought on this idea today, but I've been thinking about it for some time now. It would be something of a pity for a man to live his whole life in one county. It would be a crying ass shame for a man to live his whole life in this county. Hell, I've already got jerseys that say "Louisville" on them. Of course I will take you with me. How do you feel about mountains?

I love the mountains...
Have always been told you've never seen mountains until you see the Rockies, though.
Thanks for the laughs.....

Love the mountains. I won't ever leave only go higher in elevation.

PS...I used to have a nurse friend that smoked on her breaks and she always carried a litle spray bottle of baking soda and water and would spritz herself when she went back into the patients rooms...seemed to work for her.

My name tag says RN so this should be taken
with a grain of salt ... or several if you suffer
from hypotension...

Fort Collins is a lovely college town.
Lived there for four years.
It's grown since I left 20 years ago.

Loveland is nice.
My daughter lives there.
You may like her.

It's been in the 90's for a while there
on the *front range* (that area
that runs north-south along
the Rockies) but it's a DRY heat.
So's a blow torch, Maynard.

Mountains are spectacular.
Drive 5 miles east and it's desert.

My dad was career Air Force so I
grew up all over.... Deleware to
California. Montana to Mississippi.

I think I'm finished here

Geez Rog...please don't try this...it just don't feel right somehow.

Promise me...no spritzing yourself....ok?

I lived in Loveland/Estes Park/ Fort Collins area for over 20 years...back before California moved in. Don't bother. It's too damn crowded now.

However...headed north...once you pass Cheyenne, the wide open high plains ( Lonesome they are too) of Wyoming welcome you to a new kind of peace....

Less people in the state of Wyoming than in the city of Denver. Think about that....Wyoming is pretty durn big.

Casper is a good place.....ask misschoos...... ( with a small "m" because that's the way she likes it) ....

Wanna buy a house?
