Knowing certain posters didn't read his books, knowing you didn't do the research...it might be useful to you to read the link offered.
Some of these quotes are total fictions, some mis-stated and some stated so conveniently out of context that the meaning, as shared in this email, is far off. Take a moment...read the link on fact check, or check on snopes.
Anyone lifting quotes from a text, and NOT providing a quote source page, should raise for you guys a deep mistrust of the quoter. Not the quoted...the quoter. Without page numbers, the author of the email could say anything he wants, AND HE DID SAY ANYTHING HE WANTS, knowing that most human beings wouldn't bother to check, unless they weren't already believers of all the rest of the misinformation surrounding Obama. Confirmatory bias in processing information means the brain looks for confirmation of its world view, not to be tested, not to be questioned...believed.
And we all do it to some extent. The more intense you believe in any one perspective, the more the brain fights information that contradicts what it so badly wants to believe. For the confirmatory brain, reality is not important, but far more important is the brain, the mind. Give it images, give it a place to belong, and that brain becomes becomes very different.
FactCheck and Snopes devastate the veracity of these quotes, but note how it doesn't keep you guys from believing in them...but they do a great job of going through each of the points made and then answering the problem on a far more comprehensive level.
