.
Kindness begins in the mind and then it goes into action. Like any art, the only way to master it is to practice it. Like, one of the kindest people you will ever know is the man who picks up your garbage... but most will ever think to thank him. oh yes, he is paid to do his job, nevertheless... its a kind act not only because he does this job but also because he is kind to the environment. Who knows where the landfill will be in a few years time, i suspect in the sea.... but thats another blog. today it is kindness.
We never stop to think of kindness but its a very important emotion, not only to ourselves... (who we are most hard on), but also to others. We might never see the results of our kindness... but for every action there is a reaction and you will never escape the benefits of being kind. Its like a mirror really, what you dish out will find its way back to you somehow.... somewhere. scientists cannot explain this, expect they too know, for every cause there is an effect. Kindness is praise and encouragement, not vanity and pride.
One can see kindness in others eyes, especially as we get older... some are just beautifully old with those loving kind eyes. People who are kind seem to have less wrinkles too, but perhaps thats just my perspective. Yes kindness is an art, as is any other,,, it has to be mastered to see the results. Rome wasnt built in a day and neither was kindness. We all have many habits and since we should replace a negative habit with a positive habit... like sweets to veggies - it is a good idea to replace one of your bad habits with the habit of kindness. That way you get double the benefit.
Enjoy your day with kindness

for every action there is a reaction so true....yet remembered by so few....in today's 'me' orientated world so many are only out for what they can get from others and forget what they can give instead....and....it costs nothing to be kind
Great blog....you got my kudo....

I just mentioned that in another blog or something like that. In order to see the eyes of God when he decides your time is through here you must have your heart right, all tuned up and oiled properly and running right. It's all about timing. You never know when your time is up, and you can't just be kind to one person and rude to another. That just won't work, with God it's all or nothing, remember, he says be kind and love your enemies, it's no half way. So you must think about that next time you comment even in blogs or on the street or have road rage, your time might just be up. it's hard to do and I often have to check what I type especially if someone is being rude to me, I have to keep myself in check. Take care Lost

thank both of you, you know kindness well... and because you are kind, you know its something to work on, its no easy ride. funny enough those who are least kind to others are least kind to themselves too. you wouldnt know it for their pose, but its true.

Be kind but be strong too ,very nice blog g/f, some were born to be have kindness , it bases on where they come from, the family is the first place to show their child kindness. In adult so many people avoid to be kind because they think being so kind would show their weakness etc

I heard someone say once..... be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. Maybe from Plato? Can't remember.
I learned this one early on.....but don't remember where....
Have you had a kindness shown? Pass it on; 'Twas not given for thee alone, Pass it on; Let it travel down the years, Let it wipe another's tears, 'Til in Heaven the deed appears - Pass it on. ~Henry Burton
The one I seem to notice most often is the guy who is "kind" to his dining companion, but rude to the waiter. This guy is easily seen through. Although many times, not by his date. Which tells me volumes about her character as well.
Just observations through the eyes of a enthusiastic "people watcher." In other words, just a guy who dines alone a lot.....

awwww thats fabulous Tunes, i am going to cherish those words... now that is kindness, thanks for that
and i agree, its unnecessary to be unkind to the waiter , especially when the character switches from angel to devil to impress the dollybird

funny enough those who are least kind to others are least kind to themselves too. you wouldnt know it for their pose, but its true. This is true Doll...it has been proven that an act of kindness boosts the health (mentally and physically) for the person who does the act of kindness and extends their life...Now here's the great part...
Not only does it boost the Doer of the kindness' health...but also the person who Receives the act of kindness...Think that all??? Nope.
If Someone is Observing this said act of kindness...Guess what? It Also boosts the Observers health.
Just Think...how Far One Little Act of Kindness Could Go...Mind Boggling...

Lovely blog!
A kind word does not cost a penny...
But a harsh word can cost friendships.

MIRRORS REFLECTING EACH OTHER . Loving -Kindness- Compassion- Joy Kindness:it is a state of mind,a condition of the heart. Compassion: compassion springs forth from the heart ,it is not just a feeling, moves your body – you have no choice in the matter, can come from many different motivations there is no doubt it is a great virtue. Is a state of being. Joy: the happiness that comes from within. Love :is therapy, and there is no other therapy in the world except love. Only thing to be constantly ,remembered is self-remembrace,for always you can move from the innermost core of your being.Let action flow from there. If you do something from the periphery it may not look like a sin,but is sin. The society may be happy with you,may praise you but you deep down cannot be happy with yourself. (Vanity, egotism, and pride – they all hide a "subtle" unhappiness)

Some of the people around here should take some of this advice! you got it doll, and it was with some people in mind that i wrote it and i bet your wrinkles are not half as bad as you make out.... but if they are, not to worry the soul always remains unwrinkled.
and as always Lucy, the words you bring are profound
